waffleliciousness So I had a really busy schedule the past couple of weeks which interrupted training. Luckily I don't have a deadline like some cos it's comp season (although I would love to be able to get back into half of my old wardrobe asap, haha). I haven't changed my diet drastically and definitely haven't cut out my sugars either. Someone asked me what my goals were the other day and what I'm training for. Some people think I am crazy for gymming so much and they usually would say "but you only gymmed yesterday!" Well you ate yesterday too, why eat again today?!

I've always been into fitness and joined my first gym at the age of 16. I did kick boxing and wing chun. I love being active and hate it when I feel tired and weak. My general lifestyle has always been manic, involving a lot of travelling and carrying crap loads wherever I go. I need to be fit to be able to do what I do without crashing out. Lack of sleep was one of the main reasons why I got ill a lot back then, changing my diet and activities helped me counteract that. I am more alert and less sleepy these days surprisingly, and I sleep when I should be sleeping. No more being an owl for me, haha... Once upon a time I used to be a social butterfly and partied as hard as I trained, but unfortunately we all get old and life priorities changes. Not all of my friends know my passion for fitness as I never shared it with them (unless you're one of my gym buddies @downes360 @see_see7). About 3 years ago I joined Instagram to set up this pic diary, just sharing all my random bits, things I love, things I hate. FB took too much time so ended up being very dormant (for now). Anyways, I discovered such a huge fit community on here I found myself having so much fun geeking out with others who enjoys being healthy too! So much so i rigged my sis into this, converting her girly nails and kiddies account into a fit one too, haha! @flying_ninja_baby.

ericasquats Laid in bed with my ex. I made a selfjudging joke about my soft tummy as so many times before. But this time I didn't reccive the cute compliment in response as usual. He looked att me and honestly wondered "Why don't you just work out? I mean really work out. Why do you live with something that makes you unhappy everyday and that is acctually possible to change?" I've told this story to pepole, hearing them call him cruel and maipulating, but what it really was for me: an awakening. This change isn't done for him, it's done for me. breohbre_getfit Happy Friday! Today I had a successful Leg/Calves day. A little milestone I accomplished today.
The picture on the left was from my progress photos from January 2014. The one on the right was me this morning. As you can tell I'm wearing kooka shorts. I had bought them about two weeks ago and was terrified to wear them. But last night I just told myself "Yeah I may still have cellulite on my thighs and ass but I'm not going to look like this forever". I got over my fear this A.M. and wore them to the gym! Slow and steady progress on my lower body but I'm not stopping till I have the ass and legs I deserve.

breohbre_getfit Today was Back & Bicep day!
I woke up and decided to weigh my self as I have been eating pretty clean all week. I saw 170 on the scale and had to snap a pic. Only 10 more pounds to go and I am back in my previous pregnancy weight before having my beautiful daughter. I found it ironic that while I was doing Preacher Bicep Curls In This Moment (my favorite band) the song "Gun Show" came on.
Also please welcome my healthy newborn baby left bicep!

breohbre_getfit I can't believe it's almost been 2 weeks since I fractured my tail bone. I miss waking up at 4:30am and kicking ass at the gym.
But I'm taking some great advice and I am listening to my body. Eventually I will be healed, I just need to be patient with time.

leanlifelivin I've over come a lot the past 10 months. The time between these pictures was a lot of hard work and a constant battle with myself, I would go through streaks where I would eat perfectly followed by awful binges.. I'm not saying binges here and there are bad, but I'm talking 12lb. binges in two days Where I would be full but couldn't stop myself from eating more. But I am proud to say that I have finally learned to overcome the binges and found a balance in my eating. Changing my lifestyle has been one of the hardest things I've ever done, but the struggle has made it all worth while! Excited to see where my body will be in the next 10 months 1mon

  •   leanlifelivin @mrssweetpotatohead I allow myself to yet clean while still having some treats here and there during the week by tracking all my foods into My Fitness Pal. If you haven't heard of IIFYM do some research on it and find the IIFYM calculator to find out your daily amount of protein fat and carbs! I also have a refeed day once a week where I almost double my carbs! Binging is extremely hard to overcome and it is so unhealthy. It will be your biggest challenge as I still struggle now but it is all mind over matter. Most times I find myself wanting to binge is when I am bored so I try to find things to do so I don't try and binge. 1mon
