sams_hi Sorry guys but I need to get this off my chest I keep relapsing. Daily, sometimes multiple times! It happens when I am on my own no matter what mood. I hate myself after for doing it. I hate that I don't have any self-control! My body is starting to feel worse from the effects. My throat always hurts and I am heavier than ever. I'm sure that there will be people who follow me or who come across this post that have experienced this! So please tell me how you recovered. fooddiarypics Ok, I chose to just dance around and ignore the stress today, I literally closed my eyes to it, fingers in ears 'lalala' kinda way, which might not be best in the long run but hey. ANYWAY! Breakfast! A trusty Special K bar and some melon, (I'm unprepared and REALLY need to do shopping) so it was a shop bought lunch of a bbq chicken wrap and crisps. Dinner was sweet potato fries and pizza mushrooms with ham and chorizo. Deliciousness! Lots of calories left today so defo having a bag of sunbites whilst I binge watch netflix tonight!

bobbseytwinsww #transformationtuesday ️ it's always amazing to see these side by side pictures because in reality, I still feel like I'm 315 pounds whenever I look in the mirror. I've lost 119 pounds, but sometimes it doesn't feel like that, and when I compare these before and afters, it all comes into perspective. Even though I can't see it all the time, I can feel what losing this weight has done. I am not out of breath going up the stairs, I can walk long distances, I'm more energetic, and have a shitload of self confidence and self esteem. I'm not at goal, about 70 more pounds, but I'm a hell of a lot closer than I was last year!! Hope everyone has an amazing week!! katieeno2 Lunch..again. I noticed the picture I posted earlier I said lunch but it was my first meal of the day (just at lunch time) so that was technically my breakfast. Anyway! My official lunch today is the same wrap I made yesterday and some sweet onion wheat thins. I kind of wish I hadn't had that pasta thing earlier cause it wasn't a lot of food but had a lot of cals so I only have like 800 left for today. Oh well, can't take it back now. 49min

We've all heard that fitness is a combo of 20% your performance in the gym and 80% your choices in the kitchen – right? += Well then there are the people who count calories and those who count macros. Ummm, wtf is a MACRO?!

Macronutrients are proteins, carbs & fats. You want to have a target # of said macros throughout the day. Specific to YOU, your body, your dieting history, your metabolism and YOUR goals. IMPORTANT NOTE: if you're just counting calories, targeting say 1,700 calories for the day... and not watching the number of marcos you're having to divide up amongst those calories, you could be getting all 1,700 cals from carbs alone. 😧 That's when you miss other nutrients needed to fuel your body properly & reach your fitness goals!
_______________________________________ So, how the heck do I figure out what macros I need?! Here comes the tedious part you're going to have to start logging EVERY SINGLE THING you consume! Every spoonful of oatmeal, every forkful of spaghetti, every glass of wine & handful of dark chocolate M&Ms until you see your STARTING POINT. It's a chore. It's going to be annoying. And you're going to be overrrr ittttt in 0.48271 seconds with logging things like "2 mini oreos" or guess-timating how much ranch you doused your salad w/ But STICK WITH IT. I emphasize that you need to find your "starting point" bc say after you complete a week of "chores" (aka logging your food) you'll prob realize a big difference in what you THINK you eat & what you ACTUALLY eat!
_______________________________________ I'm constantly on the go, so #MyFitnessPal keeps me on track & makes it easy to make targeted changes to my nutrition to support my goals! You can always use a good ole fashioned notebook get fancy w/ spreadsheets or use one form of food logging app or another Bottom line - if you don't know WHAT you're getting, how are you going to know what changes to make in order to meet your goals?! Find what works for you & COMMIT to CONSISTENCY!

Eventually I know I'll be able to just remember exactly how many and what macros are in meals/ foods I eat! I know this is gonna get my ass to the next level in the gym. 25min
