prodigy3d This came out really nice, im curious what it will look like heat colorized. #titanium #knuckles #knucks #edc #makingstuff #makecoolshit #cnc #machiningporn #machining #solidworks #solidcam #imachining #garr #haas #nofilter 10h
  •   prodigy3d Thanks! @ziggyzoobaboo I think I have decided that I love all things titanium, I'll have to think up a few more trinkets I can machine. 10h
  •   prodigy3d @kingtutley there are many things you can do to pick up from the opposite side, I find that milling a pocket to match the profile in aluminum soft jaws is the easiest. I went deep enough on the first op that all I need to do now is mill the jaws, skim the back off and chamfer the edges 10h
  •   kingtutley I do the same with my #DIYCNC in wood and plastics. Sadly, #titanium might be a bit of a stretch for it. Ha. Beautiful work--looks great. 10h
  •   abqcooper Gnarly! Are those full size? 10h
  •   prodigy3d @kingtutley what kind of DIYCNC? I actually converted a seig x3 to cnc a while ago... it was way too much work to try and get a decent surface finish and titanium was out of the question, if I could do it over I would have gotten a cnc router for woodworking projects... I see you have done some pretty trick woodworking. 10h
  •   prodigy3d @abqcooper they sure are! 10h
  •   kingtutley Thx. Mine is a gantry made from surplus components running on LinuxCNC and a controller card kit from HobbyCNC. ACME screws, steppers, and big woodworking router motor for a spindle. Works fine but isn't pretty. As soon as I get my old South Bend lathe running, I'm going to use it to make components for an all-metal 4x8 router running Mach3 and a VFD spindle. Considering making it a hybrid with plasma and a water table beneath the router bed. Search YouTube for "frankenrouter" for pics. 9h
  •   prodigy3d @kingtutley That sounds awesome I hope to see some pics of that, I have toyed around on a plasma before they are really cool. 9h

coilsdesign Clear Glass Vase Made From Up cycled Wine Bottle With Wood Hanger

Taking orders now contact me at kevinsorrell@gmail.com, based in
Australia free postage.
This is one up cycled cut wine bottle vase, the glass is clear in color.
The vase measures nearly 23 cm tall and 7.5cm across the top.
The wooden frame is approx 9cm long, 12cm width and 27cm high.
The whole unit weighs about 350 grams

Each wooden hanger has been pre drilled glued then screwed using
recycled wooden pine pallets.

I use water based acrylic paints, these have been painted with pink
and white color, the bottom of the bottle has a used cork inside,
they are great used as flower vases as they will hold water really
good (no leaks)

Care of the Vases: They can be hand washed with warm soapy
water, then rinsed with water.

Each bottle is carefully selected, it is then hand cut with a glass
cutter, then the sharp edges have been sanded down, with sandpaper for a very
smooth finish, this process does take a good amount of time.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Thanks for looking!
