On the left is a Chandra image of a cloud of multimillion degree gas produced by the explosion of a massive star. The image has been color coded so that low, medium and high energy X-rays are represented as red, green and blue, respectively. A specially processed version of this image that uses spectral data (right) reveals unexpectedly large concentrations of the element magnesium, shown as blue-green. Magnesium, created deep inside the star and ejected in the supernova explosion, is usually associated with correspondingly high concentrations of oxygen. However, the Chandra data indicate that the amount of oxygen in N49B is not exceptional. This poses a puzzle as to how the excess magnesium was created, or, alternatively, how the excess oxygen has escaped detection. that_one_vegan_friend My thyroid supplements. 3x a day

I have a slow thyroid (hypothyroidism) and thats one of the reasons I eat plant based and homemade foods to heal and balance my chakras and dosha.
I don't however like any sea vegetables or noodles and such...the taste just....I cant. That is why I take these supplements. A combination of sea kelp, dulse, and kombu (for iodine and iron)
I take ashwagandha to regulate my endocrine system as well since it is an adaptogen, keeps my mood neutral since having a slow thyroid can make your mood unstable. I do not recommend it for Kapha or Vata Dosha it works more like a sedative for you.
I also take maca powder for its multiple benefits. It is an adaptogen and regulates your body's endocrine system, pH level and is a good source of protein. If you haven't tried Maca look into it. It's benefits are endless. Last but not least I take magnesium for a healthy central nervous system. It aids in protecting your nerves and helps with your reaction time.
All supplements are organic, gmo free, gluten free and gelatin and copper free.

  •   that_one_vegan_friend I found out my thyroid was slow 9 years ago. I was misdiagnosed bi-polar. Had a blood panel and eval and found out it was my thyroid (a year later) I was taking Levothyroxine to regulate it and didn't feel better so I looked into natural alternatives and started with kelp but until I went vegan (4yrs.ago) is when I felt better. High raw, unprocessed vegan foods keeps my thyroid regulated with of course the sea vegetables. I've been taking this combination for 3 years and have found nothing works better at keeping me up, active, healthy and sane 😀 @dilengerman 58min

I decided to custom these #delicious #biscuits from #Tunisia and add different flavors: #nutella, #speculoos, #chilli, #vanilla, #cinnamon and #cocoa. The basic #recipe is easy (you can add whatever you want): 125 gr chickpea flour, 40 gr flour, 50 gr powdered sugar, 75 gr butter. Melt the butter and then knead everything. You're gonna obtain something crumbly. It's normal. Then make small balls with your hands and put on a baking tray. Put 30 min in the fridge and then 15 min in the oven. Let it cool down a bit, eat, cry. 😈😈😈 Chickpea flour is very savoury and has fewer #calories and #carbs than normal flour. But it's a better source in #protein and rich in #potassium, #iron and #magnesium.

Ghribia contains butter and sugar, making it a #cheatsnack but hey, it's all about #balance, right? Plus, butter contains healthy fatty acids and is a great source of minerals. #moderation
