aaron_degraffe GOOD MORNING!! If it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you. You have to keep pushing yourself out of your comfort zone to keep gettin dem gains!! There's no way around it, walking lunges are death lol. As part of my leg workout yesterday, I did 4 sets of walking lunges holding 60 lb Dumbbells and superset that with 12 jump squats holding 15lb medicine ball. CHILEEEE IT HURT!!! graysfitness94 My client Cary is used to (and good at) high intensity, explosive, cardio style training. So we thought we'd work the other end of the spectrum and get her strength up. 2 weeks into working on our strength programme; heavy weights, lower reps and longer rest periods (which she always wants to shorten ), focusing on big compound moves and her weights are already drastically improving.
Deadlifting more than her body weight, already lunging 30% more than when she started with me and squatting nearly 40kg.

abad__girl Week 3 of Insanity Max:30 is almost complete and I'm beginning to feel so much better. Shaun T is my favorite trainer and I know his workouts work. My nutrition has been out of control in 2016 to say the least and my weight has been fluctuating to the point where it's messing with my head. As much as I say the scale shouldn't matter, it's all fun and games until your pants start to get tight. After adding things back into my diet like rice, bread and pasta- I'm beginning to see why I initially removed them. My body doesn't tolerate them. So here's to meal planning and getting back on track and finishing month 1 strong 🏽 40min
