lilmeezy_baby When your munchkin is so tired, he falls asleep nursing sitting bent over. Silly, sweet thing. #breastisbest #normalizebreastfeeding 2w
  •   lilmeezy_baby @ploxo si, jaja. Se durmió comiendo. Ay mi bebi. 2w
  •   apinzel_ Do you bottle feed also? 2w
  •   lilmeezy_baby @apinzel_ No.. I have like two or three times, but I don't care for it! Lol boob is just waaay easier. 2w
  •   apinzel_ See, I got so many bottles before I actually gave birth to Nuri. And I did pump and give him one bottle at the doctors before because I didn't have time to nurse before we left. He didn't really know what to think of it, but I didn't really like it myself because breast feeding is so much of a bonding thing and the bonding is so important to me lol. 2w
  •   lilmeezy_baby @apinzel_ loll surprisingly, I only got three bottles before I had Atlas. But if I'm going somewhere and running out of time, I normally nurse for a couple of minutes, and then feed where ever I'm at. That's me though! And I agree! That's why I looooove breastfeeding! The bond is amazing! Plus, you don't really need to teach bottles, UNLESS you plan on leaving him with someone else. Atlas can drink out of a cup if I hold it, so it didn't really matter anymore.. I didn't want to do bottles till he was at least 4 months cause I was afraid of nipple confusion. 2w
  •   apinzel_ I feel the same. I don't want to start him on bottles for awhile. I freeze all the milk I pump. Luckily for me he barely likes his pacifier and didn't really like the bottle. I also don't really want him to get hooked on the bottle. 2w
  •   lilmeezy_baby @apinzel_ that's smart to do!! In case of an emergency. Loll I didn't give Atlas a paci until he was 3 weeks old and he hated it. And now he loves it. Uses it to help him stay sleep after I pop him off the boob. 2w

lilmeezy_baby Oh you know, my son's a cool kid. Wearing his new Star Wars cloth diaper. #winning😎 2w
  •   ___darling Omg love! 2w
  •   notanexactscience Which cloth diapers do you use? We want to get some for our trip, but we know nothing. 2w
  •   lilmeezy_baby @___darling 2w
  •   lilmeezy_baby @notanexactscience hmm. Well we use a bunch of different brands. I guess it really depends what type you want. Do you want some where you change after they get wet? Or do you want to be able to keep the shell and only have to change the insert? You will definitely need a wet bag (a special bag to keep the dirt diapers). They have big ones to hold all the diapers and small ones to carry a few on the go. This website may help as well. I'll link you to their cloth diaper 101! http://www.kellyscloset.com/Cloth-Diaper-Information_ep_34-1.html 2w
  •   lilmeezy_baby @notanexactscience not sure how to link on here loll 2w
  •   notanexactscience Ohhhhh awesome! Thanks. I am looking at it now. It seems a little overwhelming. Is it? Do you wash diapers all the time? 2w
  •   lilmeezy_baby @notanexactscience mmm, not really. I do laundry every other day. Now that I have over 30 diapers, I sometimes have done it every three days, but I don't recommend that. Also, I bought my diapers used. I stripped them first of course, but I know some moms don't like that. I think it's hard at first but once you get the hang of it, it's a piece of cake. Not to mention all the cute diapers!! 2w

lilmeezy_baby It's Breastfeeding Awareness Week! So here's us showing our support!

Atlas is such a pro feeder now. It's taking us months to get here, and it's still painful sometimes (mostly biting loll, the occasional sore nipples..), but, he can just grab my nipple and pull it to his mouth. Also I can just lay on my left side, and feed him off both breasts (like in this picture!). It's been hard work, tears (and luckily, no blood). What an amazing (almost) 9 months. I hope we can continue for MANY more to come.

lilmeezy_baby Happy 5 months, my #wonderlocks. It's been quite a journey so far, and I'm excited to continue our adventure together. 1mon
  •   lilmeezy_baby @spliffskye well also, don't forget that you won't dread all the way to your scalp either. You roots will be free, so as your hair grows, it'll begin to dread on it's own. Try the temporary ones like @missmamabliss said, and if you like, then you can do the real thing. I have over 30 dreads. I've already combined one, and I'm in the process of combining more cause some are reeeally thin. But you gotta remember that dreads won't look awesome right away. They take anywhere from 6mo to a year to mature. I use a lot of DreadHeadHQ.com products to help them. I don't use wax, never will. I only wash them once a week. Strictly their dread soap (don't use their shampoo until your dreads are mature) for washing them. I also use their dread doctor tools to fix my dreads, and pull in hair that comes out. Idk, for me, my dreads are time consuming one day of the week, but I love them. Though they aren't long enough to do anything with (even though my hair used to be down past my waist, and now it's to my boobs), and I can't afford extensions. I didn't have time for my regular hair anyways and I've always wanted dreads, plus, my hair was already dreading in the back on it's own, so for me, it was the best option! 1mon
  •   spliffskye @missmamabliss I was thinking maybe the the ones you put in but I don't wanna feel fake!! @lilmeezy_baby I think it's the whole process I want to experience I have friends who have them and say it taught them a lot of patience haha I'm trying to get my hair longer stronger and healthier!! I'll prolly try dreading when I'm 25 or older!! 1mon
  •   missmamabliss It's your own hair love you don't weave anything into your hair or anything like that @spliffskye it's worth just checking it out that way you can know if you even like the way dreads look on you before you try em for reals 1mon
  •   spliffskye @missmamabliss I meant the artificial dread extensions :) 1mon
  •   missmamabliss Ohhhh I read that wrong Hahaha haha @spliffskye 1mon
  •   spliffskye @missmamabliss it's cool beans girl 1mon
