up211 Listen to your body! It's active de-load week to recover and regenerate the body & mind b/c I'm human and not a machine, so I can't go 100% all the time... A de-load means a planned reduction in volume and intensity to about 50-60% of what you would do during a normal training week... after that the body normally rebounds to a higher level of performance (law of supercompensation) 2d

My forearms are still screaming from a couple of days ago and I know patience and focusing on stretching will help them rebuild this week (vs pushing them further). This is a serious strength builder that I thinks lot if people forego, thinking that if they "go harder" that results will be better. Rest and balance truly build power in ️s!! 1d

Having so much fun thinking up new workouts with our #LebertEQUALIZER! Today: (clockwise from top left) single-leg #squats, #pullups, #pushups and #bridges. Just a quickie circuit workout of 2 sets each until perfect failure.
1. Single-leg squats are so awesome for core strength and balance! If you don't have an #EQ, you can put your foot on a chair or the arm of the couch.
2. These pullups feel amazing! They're really challenging but I can do about 10 good ones. You can make it more challenging by straightening your legs.
3. Bridges are an awesome posterior chain exercise (hello, glutes!), and with your feet elevated on the #EQ they're even more awesome! You can also do these with your feet on the floor.
4. Pushups are hard on my little wrists so it's great to hold onto the #EQ bars like this so I can maintain a neutral wrist. Again, you can straighten your legs for more of a challenge.
