  •   paula_womanofgod_marie @its_only_rafa Too many people who are Christians don't embody being a Christian... they don't allow their light to shine so others can gravitate to them... we need to let our light shine brighter than ever before! That's how we lead others to Jesus when others can see the joy and happiness from within! 14h

gidgetpink John 13: 34 & 35
As followers of Jesus we must love others and show it. The world is watching us, using our actions to judge our belief. Many have fallen away from the faith due to lack of understanding, confusion AND the actions of those professing Jesus as their Lord and Savior. #liveTheWord #Jesus #representGod #knowTheWord #blessed

  •   _synelle People take this scripture and run with it, ignoring the context or the rest of the scripture. 7d
  •   jazzyheathen Wait... Yall Christians? Esphisains 6:5 is in red writing too... Should we go with that verse or are we going to continue to cherry pick throughout the Bible? 7d

  •   eveon85 @jazzyheathen Ephesians, that verse, is not in red. It was not Jesus speaking that was Paul. (Verse about masters and slaves). But newho, carry on..... 7d
  •   moor_kush @jazzyheathen first of all, I've read the Bible from Genesis to Revelations. Secondly, I'm not a Christian. Third and foremost, what I or anyone else believe in is our GOD GIVEN RIGHT. 7d

66andchange Where’s the Pot?
Jeremiah 18:1-11
-----------------------------------------------
He said, “Can I not do with you, Israel, as this potter does?” declares the Lord. “Like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in my hand, Israel.”
-----------------------------------------------
God urges Jeremiah to go to the potter’s house to hear a word from Him. Jeremiah observed as the potter worked on a project. During Jeremiah’s observation, the Lord speaks and asks him to warn Judah and Jerusalem to do what’s right or suffer a disastrous outcome. God promised not to destroy the nation or the kingdom if they denounced wickedness. God would protect them (the pot) in his hands and shield them from calamity. #WheresThePot #KnowTheWord

jbrantley75 If you're not doing this sometime throughout your day your day is not finished. It is only "finished" in the work of Jesus Christ who is revealed thru the Holy Spirit & the Holy Scriptures. #knowtheWord 2w

jbrantley75 #mindblown Great time in the Word this morning! God really spoke. Don Carson's "For The Love of God, vol.1" is a great devotional companion to the Scriptures. If you're not in the World, get in the Word. It's life giving, & it opens up the seat for us to come to the table & feed on the Bread of Life. #knowtheWord #knowGod #grow #feed 2w

Make It Wet
1 Kings 18:1, 41
-------------------------------------------------After a long time, in the third year, the word of the Lord came to Elijah: “Go and present yourself to Ahab, and I will send rain on the land.”
Elijah climbed to the top of Mt.Carmel, bent down to the ground and put his face between his knees...
-------------------------------------------------
Elijah prays for rain to reverse the effects of the famine in Samaria. He had announced three years prior (1Kings 17) that there would be a famine due to the wickedness of the people who refused to worship God. This famine was God’s way of judging the people for turning away from Him. He used Elijah to send the prophetic message.
