  •   jjofoto @benbaker thx so much!!! 3y
  •   jjofoto @fxg_design awesome! Let's work something out! 3y
  •   jjofoto @fxg_design I do work in the arts. I've always wanted to go to grad school and accomplished that a year ago. I discovered that a high percentage of people go because they want to teach the other percentage go to discover more about themselves and how to approach their art. At the time I finishing undergrad many schools were implementing digital labs and so it's hard not to be influenced by digital technology. I prefer it over the darkroom. I'm really interested in philosophy as an art form, the questions it poses and reinventing the questions and/or my answers as a visual language. I do my best to encode my own set of semiotics (I hope I'm using this word correctly), but I often overthink things when I read too much philosophy and I decided when I finally bought this phone that the work should come more freely. It has for the most part; I am occasionally stuck. I remember being stuck at home because of a snowstorm and gave myself a project "drawing capitalism" and the image ended with a three dimensional structure made from magazines and obscured parts w/ post its-what I call my color-fields, I use them as metaphors in the same way I have used plexiglas. the biggest challenge I have is using words such as culture and capitalism in a broad sense. How do I pinpoint what parts of culture and capitalism I am trying to question. If you find the time you can find some of these images on my website jenniferjonesoneil.com. I have also been trying to work on the idea of the moving image along the lines of video art approaching it with some difficulty so for the interim I'm working on animated gifs. If interested you can find them on dump.fm/jjofoto I appreciate the conversations we are having. I have been looking for this type of stimulation for quite sometime, especially after finishing school. I look forward to more. Are you in the arts as well? 3y
