jstomps Sabbath just can't handle this Japanese Beetle. I removed it from the yard and Sabbath is still searching for it. Proud of him though for guarding our plants. Those beetles wreck havoc in gardens. #fightingcrime #pest #pestcontrol #sabbaththedog #japanesebeetle #videooftheday #friday #tgif #iflmg #dogfessional #dogsofinstagram #labradane 2w

zip__zero Caught this Japanese Beetle (Popillia japonica) chowing on squash blossoms, pest of all pests...should have known what was coming. Made a beetlekaleidoscope out of him. #japanesebeetle #beetle #popillia #psychedelic #garden #bugs #entomology #geek 1mon

  •   jerzeygurl67 I love the little hooks on their legs..and the iridescence of color in their wings 1mon
  •   zip__zero @jerzeygurl67 these guys are big and gorgeous....but if you see them in your garden, not good news. They burrow their eggs at root, for larvae to eat. By the hundreds they emerge and destroy the foliage of just about everything in sight. I found that spraying the plants with a water-based solution of baking soda and Murphy's oil soap, kept them away (for the most part). :) 1mon
