I've been skinny to fat to super ripped and now making gains. I know lots of people aren't really into me having a bit more muscle. But guess what? It's MY body and I can do what I want with it it's funny no one every questioned my body when I was fat. We live in a world where being over weight is the normal standard.

becchambersfit As a female it is very difficult to put on muscle. Extremely difficult. It bears resemblance to mission impossible. I would even go so far as to say that we work harder than dudes to look muscular. Much harder. That being said, when it comes to bulking, having an improvement season, a gains adventure, a wonderful journey of excess food or whatever you would like to refer to it as, for a female it takes a long time to see lasting, solid results.

For me personally, hitting 300g of carbs was a major win. I was a member of the 300 carb club and I was keen to become the president (or at least Vice President). The fact of the matter is, merely eating in a surplus for a couple of weeks while training and/or going HAM, beastmode etc isn't really enough. In order to make progress, a prolonged surplus state coupled with progressive overload in the gym is required. If one is to make a lasting effect on BMR then I'm afraid it takes longer than weeks and more like months (or years). So what I'm trying to say here is be patient. Don't rush through a reverse diet, take your time. The longer you can spend feeding your beautiful body excess calories (within reason) the better and more likely it will be that when you do cut, it will be on more food and with a rounder, rap-guys' girlfriend booty. #ilikebigbutts #sirmixalot
