Found a sick nasty spot to watch the sunset tonight. It was nice being up there by myself. I was really able to think about my life and how it would change if the overhang I was sitting on broke off and I found myself buried in a rocky grave.
Thankfully I didn't go careening to my death and managed to hike down in the dark without issue. Hiking in the dark without a light is my favorite. Sometimes it reminds me of my childhood and scary slides at state fairs.
Those slides came to mind when I would step in loose rocks on a steep part and rapidly accelerate.
To be honest, I didn't actually watch the sunset.

trishmcguire711 Cave exploring!!! Well its another old mining spot. Not sure if this area is named but when I was looking for rocks just off the road a guy stopped and talked to us a bit. Told us about this spot. Pretty cool it goes back a ways then opens into a larger cavern that had been mined out. #utah #utahhiking #utahgram #utahspots #exploreutah #igutah #outdoors #iloveutah @shurtz505 1h

mdraperphotography Some of the best golfing in the state is in Southern Utah. I wouldn't know, but I've heard - not much of a golfer. One things for sure is nothing beats the scenery and colors. If you ever need a great place to stay, be sure to check out @coralspringsresort Coral Springs Golf Course, Hurricane, Utah. 1h

d_n_e_b I couldn't help but share this now, probably my favorite photo I have ever taken. The thing I love most about night photography is there is no rush, no light to chase, no people around. Seeing this park all to myself was something I'll never forget, and something I have to do again soon! Have a good week guys! 1h

  •   d_n_e_b @kyle.john.jenkins haha yeah! It was just the best two nights of shooting ever. I'm addicted to this place now. I probably have like 30 shots that I loved from my two days there haha, my feed will turn into a moab feed for the next week or so 59min

  •   utahspots You were really by yourself? Nice! We were talking about hitting that area up one night but thought there would still be tons of people. Way cool shot! 26min
  •   d_n_e_b @utahspots both nights I was ALMOST completely alone, I had no more than 1 or two people within eye shot at each spot I went to, but we each kind of just took our spots and were left to ourselves. It was so sweet! Although, like I said earlier, I started my shoot at 3am and ended at 8 haha so 3-6 was almost completely dead, I think there was 4 people between the windows and the arches 6s

donnainmoab Just as Spring must burst forth, so must we. Everyone seemed so joyful to be out and about today. Sploshing through the creek with the sun on my face. Glorious. I am marveled that we ever want to confine ourselves to four walls. #moab #moabutah #spring #bluesky #creek #trailrunning #hiking #utah #utahgram #igutah #desert #divine_deserts #discover #adventure #afterlight #vsco #vscocam #vscophile #ic_trees #tree #treeporn #tree_captures #log #redrocks #geology #millcreek #righthand 2h
