jaybird30761 The new Delaware North headquarters under construction in downtown Buffalo. It is also to be the city's new Westin hotel. As well as the Hampton Inn and if you look closely on the left, you can see the Peace Bridge in the distance where the purple lights are. The city of Buffalo has seen a tremendous increase in the amount of luxury hotel space available in the city proper over the past few years including the Courtyard by Marriott Canalside, Embassy Suites, Hilton Garden Inn, the Marriott at Harborcenter across from the First Niagara Center and now the Westin. 2w

Ticket machines stand inside the University Buffalo Metro Rail subway station.

The Buffalo Metro Rail is a 6.4 mile subway/streetcar line which goes from the University at Buffalo south campus at the north end of Buffalo to downtown and the First Niagara Center, the city's major arena. It was originally proposed to be a much larger light rail system to serve the north suburbs. Daily ridership is currently around 25,000 per day.

jaybird30761 The beautiful interior of the Our Lady of Victory Basilica church in Lackawanna, New York (just south of Buffalo). The church was designed by architect Emile Ulrich and built in 1926. The founding and building of this amazing basilica church was made possible by Buffalo Roman Catholic priest Father Nelson Henry Baker (1842-1936) and his charities. He also founded Lackawanna's many charitable institutions. It is a popular attraction for photographers and tourists and one must visit in person to see just how spectacular and beautiful this church is. 4w
