angelinadieng 21 of December 2014.

As I was flicking through my photos I suddenly realized that words are still NOT enough to describe exactly what I was feeling at that moment when I sat down on that little wooden log right in front of the famous Sydney Harbor Bridge.
But I might as well try again.
So to do that you have to know where I'm coming from.
At about age 13 I decided that I was in love with a certain worship leader at Hillsong Church and desperately clung to the idea of finally turning 20 and moving to Sydney, Australia to marry him.
Needless to say that I was young and stupid but part of that idea, that dream remained true throughout the years.
Whenever I was sad I'd imagine and make up stories in my mind of a future, better, improved version of myself going to Australia and living the dream.
So almost 7 years later, we're there.
On the edge of turning 20, hating life and mostly myself for not making anything out of it, I get the incredible chance to actually fly to the land of my many dreams.
I get to meet amazing people, see beautiful places and experience a God that has never been closer.
To cut a long story short: the story of my life gets rewritten and I find myself almost completely changed for the better.
And as if incredible friendships that will last a lifetime and even longer, the memories of the places I got to go to and rebuilding a personal relationship with a mind-blowing God wasn't already enough, that same God presents one more gift to me.
The fulfillment of probably the biggest and most constant dream I had since being 13.
Going to Sydney, seeing the Harbor Bridge and the Opera House with my very own eyes.
And it became reality.
And as it did all I felt was gratitude. I was and I still am so so thankful for these moments, even though they may look like not much at all they meant the world to me and I will never forget that. Because it is one of the many reasons to believe that God loves me and it is his goodness on display. #thankyoujesus #glorytogod #harborbridge #sydneyharbor #sydney #cityofsydney #bridge #thankful #australia #nsw #newsouthwales #dreamcometrue #dream #whendreamsbecomereality #godisgood #godisSOgood #love #loveit
