tonituttut Something I learned while training for my first triathlon: Tri bike shorts have less padding than regular bike shorts so you can swim in them without feeling like you have a soggy diaper on. However, the downside is very little padding between you and the bike seat. Ouch! 9mon

  •   deep_blue_shadows Well done Toni! Looking good! I hate padded shorts, I actually think they make things worse down there, at least for a bloke anyway! 9mon
  •   tonituttut @deep_blue_shadows Thanks, Nick. I did my best leg of the race on the bike. I guess I was meant to be a cyclist! I was always a runner, but now I think I'd like to try some Century rides and bike races. 9mon
  •   robrob17 Congratulations.....fantastic effort Toni! I'm in training myself for a triathlon in January so I take my hat off to you 9mon
  •   tonituttut @robrob17 A triathalon in your future? Is it your first? I take my hat off to you too. Now, go get in the water and have all your friends swim over you and kick you in the face, so you can get ready for that sensation on race day. 9mon

tonituttut I tackled my first triathlon yesterday! The swim was a bit nerve racking because it was so foggy you couldn't see the buoys in the water. I loved it though, and did better than I expected. I'm hooked! Swim, bike, run. 9mon

tonituttut This was going to be a great beach picture, but then my bike photo bombed it. Anyways, it is a gorgeous Fall day at Mondos, with perfect, little waves for SUP riders. So blessed to live here... 10mon

tonituttut I want to grow a flower for every boy who has hurt a girl I love. I'll pin that flower on his lapel as an act of forgiveness. Then, when he looks down at the flower in astonishment, I'll bunch up my fist and punch him in the face! 12mon
