kristinasgetfitjourney BEST FEELING EVERRRR!!! I hit a milestone tonight that has seemed so unreachable for me for so long, something that I just didn't think I was capable of doing. I burned 1000 CALORIES TONIGHT!!!!!! That is a huge number for me! Lately I have been burning around 420-480 calories and have really been struggling with my lack of results over the past few weeks. BUT @micheleeann29 took me aside after Hip-hop one night and gave me some of the best advice: that I need to push myself out of my comfort zone and give it all I've got!! Give 150%, even if it hurts for a second! My body will get stronger if I just push it. Well, last night and tonight I pushed myself harder than I have the entire 7 weeks I've been working out. Erin and Sheila lifted with me tonight after class and I can't thank you ladies enough!! All of you at Gold's are becoming my family and you are saving my life! Damn this feels good!

journey_2b_fit_ So in my fitness journey, I'm still in the beginning stages. I haven't given up yet, which is a huge deal. It's been 10 days, I have messed up a few times, but I haven't given up as I have many times before. My problem: I don't exercise. I have the time, I have the ability, I even have some in-home cardio equipment. What I don't have is the desire, energy, or motivation to do it. I know that I know that I KNOW I must incorporate this in my journey to see more visible effects. This is my next step in my journey. I've almost got a handle on my eating. Next phase, get moving. 1d

lisasgetfit Transformation Tuesday! When I was sick last week, I went to the doctor which used to make me nervous because I had elevated blood pressure last year for the first time in my life. I was so embarrassed, ashamed, and scared. It consistently read 130s or 140s over high 80s or early 90s. I tried to find a full body picture from this time and I had a hard time because I just didn't take pictures of my entire body then. The picture on the left is from a work Halloween party. I had hit my highest weight. That 2XL scrub shirt was getting tight, my blood pressure was high, my energy was low, and I didn't feel comfortable in any of my clothes. Fast forward to March 2015, my blood pressure read 122/74 at the doctor!!!! I was so excited because all my hard work since November had been paying off. My blood pressure is back to normal. I feel alive and vibrant. I want to bottle how I feel right now and share it with everyone because it is an amazing feeling. I've hit some obstacles along the way but I haven't given up (this is a transformation in itself). 2015 will be my healthiest year yet! 2d

Well that was fun! I wish I had something wise or profound to say. I wish I was able to take this picture by some amazing background, but such is life. My final day of this challenge is in the little yoga space I created in my home office. It's fitting. This was the first challenge and sole reason I created an Instagram. Over the past year I discovered all these amazing challenges and the incredible #igyogafamily, I have grown more in my pactice than I ever expected. Setting intentions to complete all these challenges forces me to stop and breathe each day even if it's only for 15 minutes of #yoga. (I'm really good at putting work before myself and loved ones). I can't wait to continue growing with all of the wonderful #igyogis I have met and will meet! My next goal... #15secondhandstand
