limitstoinfinity Half of 2015, gone. Just seems like the other day it just started the whole new year. With nearly 1.4k followers and going stronger than ever before, everyone I've talked with has been incredibly supportive to this page. Often times I wonder to myself, "What is special about this page than any others"? Well, this is just the beginning.
Everyone liked, commented, thanked and now seeing this page coming together as a alliance is just spectacular. Fuck all the nonsense bullshit fakes on Instagram who are bunch of wussies.
You won't see a loyalist Metalhead, passionate gamer, communicating with everyone on here and listening to what they want.
My page is welcomed to anyone who needs a friend in need. I care about my followers more than anything else in this universe. Let's spread the word for Metal and games!

limitstoinfinity Artist: Celtic Frost
Album: Monotheist
Genre: Metal W/ Black and Doom
Label: Century Media
Celtic Frost is:
Thomas Gabriel Fischer - vocals, guitars, arrangements, programming
Martin Eric Ain - bass, vocals
Erol Uenala - guitars
Franco Sesa - drums
With this comeback album, Celtic Frost not only immerse, but glorify themselves on their new brand of experimental, hellish, and doom-laden metal. The most explicit song you'll find on this album is the opening 2 tracks, "Progeny," and "Ground." After that, it's a dive into the obscure, the unknown, and the occult.

Peter Tagtren's production brings out the bleak, menacing, and suffocating undertones on this album wonderfully. Tom's vocals are abysmal, dark, and truly PISSED. Guitars are tuned REALLY low, which help add some gut-level punch, and the drums, as always at Abyss Studios, are produced wonderfully. The electronic elements aren't distracting, and actually add a more modern, sophisticated edge to the goth-laced doom metal. The song "Drown in Ashes" features spacious synths, detached female vocals, and lurching bass lines while still being able to fit in with the likes of the next track, "Os Abysmi Vel Daath," which is probably one of the most ominus, blackened doom metal songs I've heard in a while.

By integrating an occult influence into the music, the album is made that much darker. The closing trinity of the album features invocations written in German and Latin, and the slug-paced metal, resonating with feedback and hellish ambience, makes it come to life. All of the lyrics are explained in the booklet, and even for a very educated person of the occult, you would be baffled at the depth of the lyrics and can truly tell that there is some time and effort put into these works.
But the album's highlight is Synagoga Satanae, an epic featuring Satyr that sums up why Celtic Frost is such a widely revered band.

limitstoinfinity It's been four months ago this very day since I met
@Elliosis
@Hyperchrisz
@Peteralcorn
@Garethmurdock
@WeaselCannon
And @SwashbuckleBand at the 2015 Piratefest in Seattle, Washington! Boy what a concert this was. Elliot and the rest of Alestorm put up one hell of an amazing show. Hilariously entertaining as well. Alestorm is my favorite band and They really are defined as true Scottish Pirate Metal from Scotland. If you haven't seen them you should!

  •   brandonellisgtr I imagine people must be pissed off with the latest Deathfest lineup not having "kvlt" enough bands and made this fake flyer with every non-kvlt band they could think of as a parody, like the Summer Slaughter parodies. Arsis would not and is not playing Maryland Deathfest. We're way not hip enough for the battle vest crowd. 2h

limitstoinfinity Artist: Goatwhore
Album: Constricting Rage of the Merciless
Genre: Blackened Death Metal
Label: Metal Blade
Goatwhore is:
Ben Falgoust – vocals
Sammy Duet – guitar, backing vocals
James Harvey – bass, backing vocals
Zack Simmons – drums
2014's "Constricting Rage Of The Merciless," in that they deliver another set of explosive, brutally pummeling, and certainly very ripping and rag-tag set of blackened death metal anthems streaked with strong elements of hardcore, grind, speed and thrash metal. "Constricting"also picks up right where 2012's "Blood Of The Master" left off in that completely and quite simply forsakes Goatwhore's patented doom metal-derived breakdowns. "Constricting Rage Of The Merciless" does not break any new ground whatsoever for Goatwhore. But that little drawback does nothing to prevent it from becoming a tremendously enjoyable listen, and a pure, unbridled success. "Constricting" is a nastily savage and grotesque album, but it sure makes for a satisfying listen; and even though it might be almost perversely harsh and dissonant, it will surely make for one heckuva pleasurable sound to all extreme metallists' eardrums.
@Goatwhorenola
These tracks are tight and heavy with minimal showmanship and less pomp and circumstance. They start, smash your nose in and then bash you repeatedly around the face and neck until you beg to know how they hit you so hard so many times so quickly! The fight is over before you even realize what hit you. The last two records have stretched their sound out a little to incorporate a slower trudging dirge, but this brings back some of the Haunting Curse's bliztkreig style full frontal assault. The production job is impeccable and gives every track fire and weight.

limitstoinfinity Artist: Insomnium
Album: Across The Dark
Label: Century Media
Genre: Melodic Death Metal
Insomnium is:
Niilo Sevänen – vocals, bass
Ville Friman – guitar
Ville Vänni – guitar
Marcus Hirvonen – drums
@Niilo_Sevanen
Insomnium have always been in the Melodic Death camp but this, there latest release further defines there want to experiment with the melodic side of their music. The opening track 'Equivalence' begins with some very tranquil guitar and bass, the drums kick in and some soft whispering is heard as the programmed arrangements fade in and soon the guitars strike up.
From the melodic acoustics and subtle atmospheric arrangements to the amazing soloing and impressive drum work this track (The Lay Of Autumn) truly showcases all that the band aimed for on this album and is a must hear for anyone even remotely intrigued.
Speaking of which Across The Dark has easily some of the best written lyrical content the band has released to date, surprisingly they are also some of the most positive lyrics by the group as well.
All in all I consider this easily one of the best releases of 2009 and a must hear for fans of bands that utilize a more melodic approach to Extreme music.
