hungryrunner Yesterday, I wasn't feeling well at all. I guess what I needed was a day of total rest, because after a good night's sleep I woke up feeling SO ready to tackle the first long #run of #HalfMarathon training! 🏻 I even got up early enough to beat the heat---this turned out to be a very enjoyable 6-mile city run, most of which actually took place in the lovely #ProspectPark! 🌲 Are you all having a great weekend? You know that song Grenade by Bruno Mars and the lyrics go through all this ridiculously lethal shit he would do for a girl? K well I would do all of that PLUS put a sea urchin in my bum for an egg fried in bacon grease. We all have our priorities. What's yours eggs or humans? Thought so.

Consistency over perfection: If there is no nutritional information available for your restaurant, find something similar to what you will be having and log that meal. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

BUILD A BOOTY CHALLENGEWeek 1 (perform exercises 3 times per week along with your normal workout routine)
*This video was sped up to show you a demo of each exercises. Keep your own movements slow and controlled! ️Do each of these exercises as listed back to back to complete one giant set.
Then rest for two minutes and repeat for a total of 4 times through. Floor kick backs with ankle weights, 30 each leg - slow and controlled squeeze the glute at the top. Princess Lunges on a riser - 25 each leg Glute bridges with riser (2 second hold when you come to the top) 40 reps
Squats with a Double Pulse (pretend you are squeezing a penny In between your cheeks, sneeze at the top of the squat) 40 reps
️ Make modifications as necessary - if you don't have a riser, find a raised ledge. If you don't have ankle weights, use a resistance band or double the reps. Don't forget to take your before pics!
