uobroin Me, light rockfishing (LRF) pioneer, Our Lady's Well, #Dalkey, Co #Dublin. 1976. I was fairly lethal. Ironically LRF is now the style do jour. I could do with the Young Americans natural hair color these days. The style you can keep. Along with the flares. #fishing #lrf #ireland #fishirl 1w

mcgranea An unusual species for Ireland, and only found In very localised populations in Irish waters since about 2003, and a target species that has been on my list for a good few years so I was delighted to catch one last weekend. Pity about the picture quality though! #fishirl #seabream #gilthead #giltheadseabream #ireland #nightfishing #fish 2y

  •   captainphil67 Looks like our Porgie 2y
  •   mcgranea @captainphil67 yeah they do, they seem to be the same family of fish 2y
  •   captainphil67 Here they prefer mussel beds or rocky bottom. Sometimes they are so thick the screen looks like it has 2 bottoms. It's reading the bottom and they will be a few feet off the bottom creating the false reading on the machine. That's when you just drop to the bottom, take 2 or 3 cranks on the handle and bam, you got em. @mcgranea 2y
  •   conorfuller Nice going Ai 2y
  •   mcgranea Wow @captainphil67 we get nothing like that here! they seem to like the same ground this side, estuaries with plenty of mussel/oyster beds, is where they're usually caught. 2y
  •   mcgranea Cheers @conorfuller 2y
