alisha_headyfit Quick and yummy way to cook apples, or pears, or bananas, plantains, mangos....there are plenty of choices! This morning I sliced an apple thinly after peeling it and cooked it this way. You only need about 1/2 a tsp of coconut oil, just make sure you get it hot first. Then just cook the apples (or whatever) down until they are carmelized. I cover the pan with a lid while they cook down. No sugar added, and so sweet and yummy! jbtrainnutri Just working on my booty and hamstring gains.

Good mornings are a superb exercise to increase size and strength of the musculature in the entire posterior chain: glutes, hamstrings, spinal erectors and upper back.

However, I rarely see a GOOD good morning being performed (see what I did there?) so here are my top tips to stop you getting a surprise ticket to Snap City:

Get your butt back. Waaaay back. This loads the posterior chain effectively. If you don't push your butt back you'll probably end up loading your lower back excessively or you're doing some sort of weird squat-good morning hybrid.

Don't let your knees move forward. Notice how in the video my shins stay upright? This more effectively loads the hamstrings. If the knees dip forward, the tension is taken off the hammies.

Keep a bit of softness in the knees. If you don't have a little bend in the knees you'll potentially strain the tissues in the back of the knee and won't be able to shift your body weight back.

Arch your back, but not too much. If you over arch your back you can put undue stress on the structures of the lower back. Instead aim to create tension in both your back and abs by both arching and keeping the front of your rib cage down towards your pelvis.

adamsons_peak_performance We love the #TRX for its ability to provide a variety of different exercises that target nearly all muscle groups.
Give the Atomic Pushup a try:
While lying on your back, place each foot in the trx handles then roll over to a plank position. Complete a slow pushup and once fully back to the top, pull your knees in to your chest while squeezing your core and keeping your back flat. Extend legs back to plank position and repeat.

It's actually so much fun and so easy we tend to wake up relatively early, say around 6am before it gets too busy and go for a long walk or a light jog 🏽 this is usually around the streets, in the country side, on the beach or wherever we can we have also set ourselves a challenge to do 100 squats a day as well as as many push-ups as we can I'm also incorporating light floor exercises and some light yoga! it doesn't seem like much but I think consistency is key it's hard to be 100% healthy whilst travelling because 1. If you're going to a new country, you don't know what to expect until you look around. 2. Some countries don't understand 'no salt, no oil'. 3. Sometimes, it's okay to treat yourself I've never been able to eat clean 100%, it never made me happy as I felt restricted and had anxiety with it. So, now that I'm travelling, I have to find that balance ️ I eat healthy when I can, and when I have to eat a curry that has oil then I don't make a big deal about it, and I do like the occasional Oreo treat life is about balance, travelling is balance! Be consistent and happy and you will be able to maintain your health whilst moving about some days are easier than others, but isn't that what life is about? // 1d
