kimster1220 No sleep (see my last wacky post lol) and sore legs from yesterday. Put my watch in the stroller so I wouldn't even know my pace and did 3 easy miles. Then Kylie wanted to walk so we did a nice cooldown. Had a long date with my foam roller. Last run before my half on Saturday - all that's left is lots of stretching/yoga and my favorite: carb loading! I love eating. I am kind of in love with half distance lol. I thought a full was years off after being done having kids. Now I don't know if I'm having any more. So I figured I should go for it. posttweetism You can hear good advice from other people, but a lot of the time you have to experience it to believe it I would've never have seen the true value of the #easyrun if I hadn't had done the 50 day #runstreak earlier this year - it forced me to run easy when previously I chose to rest or walk it off. Easy runs and shorter frequent runs, over bulky sporadic slogs, have been a revelation this year I dragged myself out of bed today limping with lower calf tightness after last night. Slow and heavy today but I'm ok with that #biggerpicture #highfrequencyrunning #8020rule #runrise #fitfriend 10h

k_runsthistown Rest day from running so I did a little cross training. I used to never do any workouts besides running because I didn't think I needed to. Running kept me in good enough shape right? Wrong. A couple injuries due to muscle imbalances definitely proved me wrong. Now I try to incorporate whatever body toning exercises will fit into my running schedule. I know runners fall into the rut of only running, but don't make the same mistake I did! Go switch it up a little bit sometimes, your body will thank you 1d

  •   _jana_banana_ @justrunchicago Thank you. It felt great. Legs feel great. But I'm gonna take it easy for some time. Just 3 or 4 miles tops. I was surprised how sore I was after the marathon. I thought, when I slowed down that much during the race, that I won't be as sore. But I was. Ouch ouch with every step while walking in Chicago. 21h

blonde_bun_runner Easy, watchless 6 mile run today and couldn't have asked for more perfect weather️ you know u do an easy run right when your legs actually feel better after the run then they did before. The cumulative fatigue thing with Hanson's training is NO joke. In the last 12 months, I've trained for and completed 2 full marathons and an ultra marathon with 1/2s in there too and I've never felt like this before. But this is what I needed to be able to push myself to a BQ. #strongereveryweek #bqorbust AND good luck to everyone who's trying to join The Flock team today!
