nola_vegan_girl We're making tacos tonight and I decided to try a cheez sauce. This has potato and carrot as the base. I added garlic powder, onion powder, nutritional yeast and siracha. It came out surprisingly well. The texture is amazing. You can really taste the nutritional yeast so if you don't like nooch, you wouldn't like this. If you like nooch then you'd love this. Fat-free cheez sauce made from vegetables! Yes, please! 8h

  •   nola_vegan_girl @chellebabes 2 cups diced potato/1 cup diced carrots boiled until soft. Add potatoes and carrots to blender. Add 1/2 + 1/3 cup of potato water to the blender. Add 1/4 tsp garlic powder and 1/4 tsp onion powder and blend until smooth. Add siracha to taste and enjoy! 8h

lifewithcarbs Dinner last night: 2 orders of dolsot bibimbap . Still making up for how little I ate during the week.

I've eaten out more often than usual this week. 3 times is a lot more than usual for me but I'm not going to stress about this. I know I don't do this often, and if other parts of my life require me to eat foods that are not as low fat and low salt as usual, then it's okay. My life doesn't revolve around food, although it definitely used to. I used to socially isolate myself because I wanted to eat fruit for lunch but all of my friends wanted to eat "regular" food at a restaurant. But now I'm more flexible and understanding that I can't always eat HCLF 100% of the time. Do what works for you and don't let food get in the way of your relationships! Friends and family are #1, food is #2.
