liittlechef My family as well as my bf's family do not share the same enthusiasm I do for healthy foods, so when ever I get the chance to cook for them I do my best to make incredibly healthy meals that taste incredible too because my friends & family's health is just as important as my own. I made lentil chickpea burgers and they were a hit!! Even the kids loved them. Served on a WW bun with avocado, tomato, baby lettuces, hot peppers, dijon & cooked in olive oil to get a crispy outside. 100% healthy and delicious!!! Excuse my no make up but I was feeling awesome today the last few days Ive been feeling down and haven't felt like myself, I was sure that I gained some weight back but I actually lost and despite feeling horribly bloated I've leaned out a bit too! I can't be the only one who's had this happen before, I'm sure at some point some of you have felt like your falling behind only to find out your still making progress, it's a really great feeling!! Tomorrow I'm going to work even harder to ensure I keep moving forward. Only 6lbs till I reach my goal of 120lbs Thank all of you for supporting and inspiring me on my journey, I hope to do the same for as many people as possible. liittlechef Playing zombie flux with the family while keeping hydrated ( don't want to become one myself!) drinking water is SO important, it can help keep you sharp and energized throughout the day as well aid digestion. Did you know almost 80% of the population in Canada and U.s are chronically dehydrated simply because they don't drink enough water during the day. Isn't that crazy? I try to drink at least 3-4 700ml bottles throughout the day, especially during/ a workout Do you get enough water? What do you do to stay hydrated? 3d

liittlechef Clean "Candy" Bars Recipe!!
This is one of my favorite recipes i've ever made, if you have a pesky sweet tooth like me then these are for you!! Guilt free and delicious
What you need:
2 cups pitted dates
200g dark chocolate
1/4 chopped almonds
1 cup oats (processed to flour)
1 1/2 scoops vanilla protein powder
1/4 tsp salt
3tbsp honey
2tbsp melted coconut oil
1/2tsp almond extract
1/2 tsp stevia
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1. Shortbread crust:
Combine processed oats, protein powder, salt in a bowl. Mix in honey, oil, stevia and extracts, mix until well combined and crumbly texture. press in a foil lined 8x8 pan and bake for 10min on 350. Transfer to fridge and let cool completely.
2. Caramel filling:
Process dates until they become a smooth texture. If they turn into one giant ball that wont process add a little water until proper consistancy.
3. Spread date caramel evenly over shortbread. Sprinkle almonds over top and lightly press into dates.
4. Remove from pan and cut into 10 bars or 18 smaller bars.
5. Melt chocolate. Coat each piece one at a time with chocolate and place on parchment lined baking tray. Once all pieces are coated pop in the fridge for 30 min and done!
These should be stored in and air tight container and can be kept in the fridge, pantry or the freezer for whenever you need a quick fix.

A candy bar that's healthy for you? We all wish for it but nowhere can we find it, am I right? We'll search no more I've spent the week researching to make this possible and FINALLY we have a winner! I know what you're thinking, it's healthy there's no way it can compare. Don't be so quick to judge these are freaking delicious!!! Reminiscent of a twix/snickers. Don't believe me? The entire batch was GONE in less that 24hrs!!! To top it off they are super easy to make. Stay tuned for the recipe, I will be posting this weekend

seductivehorann okay so the last few months, I've been feeling more insecure about my body than usual. it started mostly late this summer.. I couldn't wear anything that showed my stomach, I hate looking at myself in mirrors, and now I can't even wear dresses, or tight clothing. i have so many stuff I bought like that and I wanted to wear it so much that I started eating a lot healthier, i haven't ate a bag of chips or a chocolate bar in weeks. I tried doing different diets, cardio's and workouts, but I felt like nothing was working, and I was getting bigger. I do exercise and stuff like jogging usually 2-5 times a week, seeing I have volleyball practices 2 of those times. I have apps on my phones and all where I'm keeping track of my calorie intake and what I eat, what exercise I do, everything pretty much. I feel like I'm getting nowhere.
what I'm getting to is if anybody knows of something that I could try that could help me can you please let me know️ thank you

meechrae I didn't have many points today so I ate avocados AND salmon for dinner both are high in points but have such good fat I like having them when I can. liittlechef Don't waste your time trying to explain yourself to people who want to bring you down. Sometimes others simply don't understand and will try to take you down to make themselves feel better. If you are pursuing a healthier lifestyle i.e eating clean, working out, giving up unhealthy habits etc don't let the opinion of others stop you from reaching your goals! This journey is a tough one no matter what your goals but keep pushing forward and I promise you will get there one day.
