Zevia is sweetened with erythritol and stevia extract, both naturally derived sweeter from plants, fruits and wood. They have no known negative effects on the human body. The greatest calorie free sweeteners there are at this moment really! I use them both in a lot of my baking and can not tell the difference from real sugar AT ALL.
Cream soda and black cherry are defiantly my faves! Have you ever tried this drink? Which one did you like the most?

After getting 1/3 of the through my current challenge of doing hip hop abs, drinking my daily shakeology full of vitamins/super foods and eating clean I took this photo and was shocked at how my body was changing so quickly! This has helped me continue on to now 2/3 of my challenge and I feel GREAT. It's so gratifying to see the hard work you put in pay off. Stick to your goals, keep them right in front of you and push even if it's only for 1 month, you need to start somewhere. I'm a girl who went from having ZERO will power and struggled single everyday until one day I cracked and chose to stop self sabotaging my goals and dreams. If I can do it YOU can do it too.

liittlechef (Late post from yesterday)Day 18! I really enjoy counting the days like this, it help me push just a little bit harder everyday and reminds me that I have a goal.
Even if the results arn't immediate it doesn't mean you body isn't changing, it takes TIME. These things don't happen over night ya know!
But i' going to stick it through this time, and it is going to feel so good that morning I wake up and realize" holy crap I did it".
Tonights dinner is Whole grain quesadilla with tomato, avocado, chicken, skim milk cheese, and black beans. With side dips salsa and greek yogurt with lemon juice. Oh and those lovely cucumbers over there!

liittlechef Made these gorgeous chicken nuggets for last nights dinner
None of that weird stuff they put in McDonald's nuggets and none of the fillers + additives you'll find at the grocery store. Just good ol' protein, whole grains and love. Remember those awesome wholegrain sprouted kale/quinoa/corn/flax tortilla chips I posted last week? Well they played a roll in making these And i'm going to share the recipe here with you!
CLEAN CHICKEN NUGGETS
- 1lb chicken breast, cut into 1-2 in cubes
- 3 cups "WAY BETTER" tortilla chips
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. Line baking sheet with foil, spray with coconut oil and set aside.
2. Crush tortilla chips in a ziplock bag until they resemble fine crumbs.
In separate bowls set up crushed chips, flour and eggs(make sure to whisk egg with a fork before using.)
3. 1 piece at a time roll chicken in flour, then dip in egg and then roll in crushed chips and place on baking sheet. Repeat this until all chicken is done.
4. Bake for 15-20 min or until chicken is cooked through. Serve warm and dip in hot sauce or homemade honey mustard aka just mix mustard with honey.

liittlechef Who's favorite meal of the day is breakfast??
Breakfast has always been my favorite meal of the day hands down, but these days i really look forward to it!! Drinking my super food shake in th A.M give me the most energy to start my day right, I have not had coffee in over a week and i don't even miss it. My craving have also gone down since my body is getting all the vitamins and nutrition it needs to run smoothly during the day.
I'm fueled and ready for this day bring it on!!

angie_moree Baked Tuna Salad: 1 tuna steak cut up onion and green pepper with blackening powder at 400 for about 15 minutes or until done. Slice tuna steak over fresh romaine lettuce and add slices of cucumber. I used French dressing and sprinkled black pepper. YUM YUM YUM! 6d

liittlechef I'm on day 16 of 30 of doing hip hop abs and Okay bare with me here I know this is just a photo of my legs BUT it makes me very happy. I've felt like I would not be able to get my muscle back in my legs since last year I started to get inflamed knees and then sprained my ankle causing it to be a lot stiffer than it was before. I've been staying positive and pushing through doing what I CAN without over doing it. Today I looked down at my quads and I had to snap a progress pic. Although this program focuses on working abs the whole body starts to change when you are fully engaged and pushing to it to the limit. Now I've only lost about 2lbs right now BUT everyone's body is different. Also, our bodies can slim, tone and build muscle with out the scale budging a single number for sometime. This is why I always tell my clients + challengers DONT let the scale define you worth. If I was still letting the scale determine my progress I would have quit this health/ fitness thing a loooong time ago and there would be no Kaitea here today posting! So please give your All everyday and you will see changes.
