A healthy grilled sammich made with sprouted WW bread, roasted red pepper, mashed avocado, chicken & jalepeno havarti and a big side if brussel sprouts
I'll admit it's not always easy getting him to eat my healthy creations, let alone eating clean when I'm not around!! It's a work in progress but I'm determined

liittlechef Homemade pasta sauce for dinner
In a food processor combine 8-10 Roma tomatoes, fresh basil, 2 heads roasted garlic, 1 sautéed onion, 1 roasted red pepper, oregano, sea salt, 2 grated carrots, 2 sticks sautéed celery, corn starch process until smooth. Cook 1lb lean ground beef & drain.
Add purée to beef & bring to a boil till cornstarch thickens.
I served it over Kamut noodles. Hit the spot after a long day

Had a sweet craving this afternoon and this certainly hit the spot!!
Greek yogurt "cookie dough"
1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
1tbsp nut butter ( I used cashew)
1 tbsp honey (raw is best)
1 tbsp mini dark choco chips
1/4 tsp vanilla Mix all together well and eat!
New got to post workout snack, Greek yogurt is a great source of protein so enjoy this treat guilt free

Sorry I've been MIA the last 2 days, Friday I spent all day constructing a wedding cake for a friend and yesterday I attended her wedding It was gorgeous, they had such a beautiful ceremony outside and luckily there wasn't cloud in the sky! 🌞 After spending 12hrs with the cake I had no desire to eat any so I had a couple appetizer sized lemon bars, chicken & veggies, no guilt I'm allowed to cheat a little, as long as I feel it's worth it #sorrynotsorry 3d

liittlechef See that little measly bump on my arm? My biceps area starting to come back! Last month I couldn't do a single chin up now I can do 4 it's so rewarding to work towards a goal and actually see the difference! liittlechef Go to snack trail mix & apple! I used to eat trail mix out straight out of the bag thinking I was being healthy while consuming 100's of calories now I know better!! Remember moderation is always key, you CAN have too much of something healthy, be mindful of your portion sizes! I know stick to about 1/4 a 1/2 depending on how my body feels, no more excess calories 5d

liittlechef What!? Pancakes again?? If you've been following me for a while you know I love my pancakes! Had plain banana protein pancakes today with clean blackberry sauce Pancakes are made by mixing 1 overripe a banana, 2eggs & I scoop vanilla protein powder. For the sauce I simply cooked in a small sauce pan, blackberries with a lil stevia until warm. Give it a try, you'll be glad you did! 6d

Dinner was WW egg white noodles tossed in light rose sauce and topped with baked chicken breast, chard, onion & tomatoes from the garden haven't had actual pasta in while, this certainly hit the spot!
