choifooddiary You're not yet done in Hong Kong until you've got yourself this famous bao. Bao is actually a chinese food which contains fillings. But Little Bao elevated this version and introduced an American twist to it. I ordered Pork Belly Bao, which is made of slow-braised pork belly, leek & shiso red onion salad, sesame dressing and topped with hoisin ketchup. Oh my god, this is heavenly!! Bite after bite, it becomes more and more enjoyable! Although they could actually braise the pork belly a little bit longer, no baos in the world can beat this one! choifooddiary This is the most unexpected place to find one of the best food in Hong Kong. It is indeed a hidden gem in Central. We ordered 3 dishes and the most memorable was the pork cutlet burger. The crisp of the burger bread was just an absolute delight, and the pork cutlets and melted cheese, what more can I ask for? Choifooddiary Ratings: 10/10 -har- 10h

choifooddiary We dropped by Pizza Express and got ourselves Peking Duck Pizza and Ribbon Pasta included in the Lunch Set Menu priced at HKD$66. To be honest, the pasta was not worth the price and was kind of bland; while the pizza was absolute winner! Overall, I would rate this a 6.9/10 -har- 2d

choifooddiary For dinner, we had Spaghetti Fruti di Mare, which had shrimp, scallop and calamari in pomodoro sauce. The sauce was made more to the taste of bolognese and there were not enough seafood to catch up with the price. Having said that, the seafood were cooked near to perfection. choifooddiary Ordered chicken chop noodles. In Hong Kong, they serve food in a big portion at an affordable price. Although the noodles are very dry and hard to chew, the chicken chops are very flavourful and soft. Just add a spoonful of chilli and the whole bowl tastes good. Normal young food enthusiasts
choifooddiary Hokkaido Milk Pudding for HKD$11. The texture is very very soft, and it just melts in your mouth. Although I would personally prefer it to contain more milky flavour, but it is a good compliment for the sunny weather. Choifooddiary Ratings: 7.8/10 -har- 3d

travellingfoodblog Last night's dinner was fantastic. Me and a friend went to eat at a Korean restaurant and ordered this huge plate of pork slices. Even though it's kind of oily, they'll give you a plate of vegetables and you can wrap it around the pork and eat it together with their special sauce. Not entirely sure of what the sauce is composed of, but it has that sweet and sour taste, with a slight kick of spice. After that, we also had Korean ice cream! 3d

choifooddiary Hey guys! Check out the new restaurant in town! Oppa Chicken just opened for a while and this is one of their best selling menu: Korean Spicy Chicken Rice. It is very affordable and delicious. Their blue LemonAid is also worth trying because they are made from 100% lemons! Choifooddiary Ratings: 7.7/10 -har- 4d

choifooddiary Apple Crumble Pie worth HKD $52. This is probably one of the best desserts I've tasted! The apples were caramelized to perfection, and the contrast of hot pie and cold ice cream makes the dish really enjoyable and delightful. However, the crumbles were too burnt. But overall, I would rate it a 7.0/10. -har- 5d

choifooddiary Here's what I had for lunch. For my main, I had Grilled New Zealand Sirloin Steak which obviously fid not look and taste like a steak (it was a thin slice of fillet and was way too overcooked); french bread were not crunchy; orange juice tasted like the one in the airplane; cream soup was just soup with salt. Maybe this is the worst meal I've had so far. On the contrary, the service was exceptional and the waitresses were very friendly. 5d

choifooddiary Spicy rice cake x seafood at Hysan Place's food court. Honestly, when I looked at the menu, this dish looked so so much better. Tasted horrible, clams were too overcooked; sauce was not thick and spicy as it should be; this dish was not worth the price I was paying! Choifooddiary Ratings: 22/7 / 10 -har- ( I couldnt find the pi symbol so i replaced it with 22/7 @yenyiyanisiegfried ) 5d
