despitethediagnosis "I've walked through some seasons of loneliness. Where the only one I could muster up enough strength to talk to was God. Where I cried out, why did I have to walk through life with this issue in my body. I was mad. I didn't find it fair. I complained a lot. God finally answered me one day after reading the book of Job. He said, 'For my glory.' I didn't understand it then, but I know now. The only things that can come from our Heavenly Father are good things. Bad things come from living in a fallen world; oh but God can use all things for our good and ultimately for His glory. I had to trust what He told me and not what others said or thought. I have learned to trust Him before all things and will allow my situation to be used for His glory." - @aspoonfuloffaith #despitethediagnosis 35min

cappinmike Good morning! Today we’re reading Psalm 71. The person that wrote this psalm knew the psalms that David wrote very well. It might have been the prophet Jeremiah. You will find many verses from previous chapters repeated here: Psalm 31:1-3; parts of Psalm 22; Psalm 35:4, 26, Psalm 36:6, Psalm 38:12, Psalm 40:13 and Psalm 70:1. The writer, probably in old age, appeals to God for help from his enemies, pleading his past favors, and stating his present need; and, in confidence of a hearing, he promises his grateful thanks and praise.
“23 My lips will shout for joy, when I sing praises to you; my soul also, which you have redeemed. 24 And my tongue will talk of your righteous help all the day long, for they have been put to shame and disappointed who sought to do me hurt.”

itsmebfairley When we give our lives to God we are no longer slaves of sins, but slaves of righteousness... 1 John 3:6 says "Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him." Does this mean we will no longer sin anymore... No.... But it does mean that you refuse to make sin a habit in your life and immediately want to make it right with the Lord and ask for forgiveness when you do sin. You do whatever it takes to not be a repeat offender of whatever sin you are dealing with.... YES, God will met you where ever you are in your life... But are you willing to be transformed by God? Willing to Give up the lifestyle you once knew? Willing to give up friends and relationships that mean you no good in order for the Lord to completely come into your life? We cannot walk with God and hold the Devil's hand. We are not promised tomorrow... It's time to Let Go and Let God. Have a Blessed and Productive Day Everyone

despitethediagnosis Despite the Diagnosis. God is sovereign. He is faithful. He is the great I am. God is exactly who He says He is. And wants to be exactly that in the midst of our circumstances.

This movement is about standing together as a people to declare the truth of God's word over our lives despite what the doctors have said about us. Despite what the world tells us we are missing. Despite what religious folks have told us we've done to deserve this.
This is to show forth the glory of God working within us, no matter what obstacle we face on the outside and inside of our bodies. To daily stand against what our bodies are showing us, and speak life and truth of Gods word over it. No matter how many bad days we see, He is still victorious and has given us this life to truly LIVE free from all pain. In order for us to find true healing, we must declare to see ourselves exactly as God sees us - right now! - perfect through His son Jesus Christ.

And through this journey and process, we will be able to pull others up with us to stand firm in knowing we are God's children, we are whole not because of the health of our bones - but because Jesus says we are. And we are called for such a time as this to stand praising our Lord in the thick of it. Despite the Diagnosis is birthed today in Jesus' name! #despitethediagnosis

linseycollierwhollyhealthy It's so easy for me to start spinning about all the different things going on in my life and what the future holds.
But it's not my job to worry about tomorrow, it's my job to do the best I can with what I have today, to trust God and know that His plans are Good.
It seems so simple, yet it's a lesson I keep having to learn. Anyone else struggle with this?

rescued_church What are you sharing and showing those who need Jesus? What are you saying how are you living what are you doing or not doing to show others what a follower of God is suppose to look like? As believers we have to remember that we are to be salt and light in this world to those who are lost we are called to be walking living examples of Christ love in fact the word christian means little Christ you see will we live a perfect life? Nope will we fall stumble and make mistakes? Yes yet it's in the continuing walk that we live showing others we fall we stumble yet we get back up not turning back to those past things rather pushing forward. Today make the most of your day being a light sharing God's love being an example showing others the love of Christ. We can't live hypocritical life's then get upset when the world throws it in our face let's be accountable for what we do. #dailydevotion #dailydevotional #devotion #devotional #dailygrowth #bible #blessed #faithful #walkwiththeLord #christian #rescued_church #herescuedme #God #Jesus #HolySpirit #bealight 1h

ltworg When faced with trials, unbelievers like the widow in 1 Kings 17 often shake their fists at God. Sometimes, they make one of God’s people, even someone close to them, the target of their anger. The widow says to Elijah in verse 18, “What do you have against me, man of God? Did you come to remind me of my sin and kill my son?” Elijah responds the way every Christian should; he does not return the anger but goes to God in prayer, relying on God’s power to change the circumstances. God then uses Elijah to achieve the first resurrection in the Bible. God does this historical miracle in the home of a Baal-worshipping widow in the lowliest of places. It is a lesson that when we pray and depend on God’s power, He will pour His resurrection power on the people and plans in our lives.
Elijah’s intensity in prayer for the boy was effective as he literally put his entire being into intercession. God honors this type of wholehearted devotion in prayer.
With the resurrection of her son, the widow finally knew God.
Does Elijah’s intensity in prayer inspire you?
Prayer: God, help me to pray with the kind of intensity that Elijah prayed with, believing that You will answer. Help me to devote more time, passion, and purpose to my prayer life. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen. “So he left them and went away once more and prayed the third time, saying the same thing” (Matthew 26:44). #Elijah #resurrection #miracles #prophet #prayer #LTWDevotional #Bible #devotional #dailydevotional #Jesus #Christian #God #MichaelYoussef #LeadingTheWay #Gospel #BibleStudy #truth #biblicaltruth

cherrydalebaptistchurch Please join us this morning as we pray with our missionary, Stephen (Asia). He's speaking with someone who might be able to help him set up a business that would enable him to remain in the country, and asks that we join him in prayer during this exciting time.
