daily_bible_devotional Psalm 68:28

Summon your power, God; show us your strength, our God, as you have done before.
Psalm‬ ‭68‬:‭28‬

When we understand the character of God, when we grasp something of His holiness, then we begin to understand the radical character of our sin and hopelessness. Helpless sinners can survive only by grace. Our strength is futile in itself; we are spiritually impotent without the assistance of a merciful God. We may dislike giving our attention to God's wrath and justice, but until we incline ourselves to these aspects of God's nature, we will never appreciate what has been wrought for us by grace. Even Edwards's sermon on sinners in God's hands was not designed to stress the flames of hell. The resounding accent falls not on the fiery pit but on the hands of the God who holds us and rescues us from it. The hands of God are gracious hands. They alone have the power to rescue us from certain destruction. (Quote by R.C. Sproul)

If you are unsure of your faith in Christ, please consider sincerely praying the following prayer of belief:

Lord Jesus Christ, I admit that I am weaker and more sinful than I ever before believed, but, through you, I am more loved and accepted than I ever dared hope. I thank you for paying my debt, bearing my punishment and offering forgiveness. I turn from my sin and receive you as Savior and will seek to follow you as Lord. In Jesus name, Amen

#dailydevotional #awakeningcountdown #21daysleft R E G I S T E R!!! Our society says that we should focus on our self. Reaching our highest potential, getting all we can out of life. Paul however tells us that life should be God centered.. He is the maker of everything . Through Him we can understand much more than what we can comprehend with our human minds. We cannot completely understand life thinking inside the box . We must let God enlighten guide us and direct us . After all he is the maker of heaven and earth

herescuedme7 Read this and if you don't get excited you might want to check your pulse. God is the maker creater restorer healer He alone sets the world in motion. Yet we read this and we limit God we limit His power ability and blessing we say God can't handle my problem we say God can't solve this God can't help. What we need to say is God you speak it and it happens the earth is yours and all that is on it is only by you God you are able to meet and exceed my need far beyond what i can imagine or think. God it's the one the only one who can and will help strengthen bless and make a way we need to stop limiting and start lifting our hands in praise for Who He is and all He is capable of! #believe #herescuedme #thankyoulord #thankful #hecan #hehas #heis #dailydevotion #dailydevotional #devotional #devotion #faithful #faith #wordofGod #bible #blessed #godisincontrol #Jesus #Jesussaves 3h

susyancrafts This is sobering. Sometimes following Jesus can be the toughest walk you've ever been on.. especially when your family and friends do not accept Him. Some of you may find that to be faithful to Him can mean losing your job, and as a result, your future may seem shaky. But keep doing the right thing, keep your eyes on Him, and please *only* Him... And He will see you through it all. He is your faithful Friend. #staytruetoHim #faithwalk #jesusonly #faithfulFriend #princeofpeace #biblejournaling #illustratedfaith #scriptureart #dailydevotional 6h

fatgirl_meets_fitworld I may not have known they were coming from HIM initially...as I started this spiritual journey later on...but the truths that God has revealed to me that have inspired me to begin my health journey His way & to continue it His way...
Taking care of this body honors Him. What I feed it (mentally and physically) matters. 1Corinthians 6:19-20(NIV)19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies. 1 Corinthians 10:31(NIV)So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. I was MEANT to share my story to help others...both my health and fitness journey and my journey to God. Matthew 5:16(NIV)16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. I cannot take care of/serve others if I do not take care of myself 1 Peter 4:10 (NIV)Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms Galatians 5:13-14(NIV)13 You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. 14 For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” I cannot be a good example or role model to my daughter if I don't practice the things I teach. 1 Timothy 4:12(NIV)12 Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. Proverbs 22:6(MSG)Point your kids in the right direction— when they’re old they won’t be lost.

Re: Verse reading–Exodus 39:32, 42-43; 40:1-2, 16-17, 32-38 (day six)

The presence of God is synonymous with His leadership. The Tabernacle not only served as a visible reminder that God was with the Hebrews, but that He also intended to lead them every step of the way; expecting them to follow. This serves as a great reminder to us that God is always in the business of leading us as individuals and as a people, His church. It is intended that we not only feel his presence, but also follow his leadership. When he moves we move.

Sometimes we don’t always appreciate this. We enjoy sensing the presence of God, but we aren’t always keen to follow Him when He moves. Maybe because He leads us away from what we are used to, or perhaps His leadership exposes our sin; areas of our life that need redeeming. Regardless we can’t have one without the other. We cannot hope for His presence, and ignore His leadership in our lives. It simply cannot be so, for to delight in the presence of God is to follow wherever He leads.

jprince_cheryl God doesn't want us building up things like revenge, grudges, etc. cause the only person they hurt is us if we hold onto it. Forgive and forget and move on. After all, that's what Jesus did for us, so why can't we extend that same grace to others around us #GodWillCarryYouThrough #LetGoOfRebenge #LetGoOfGrudges #DailyBread #DailyDevotional 11h
