thegirlgotfit Was feeling s-l-o-w tonight and beating myself up over it! I am using #CouchTo5K to train for an upcoming 5K in June, and it paces me (in a good way) slower than I'm used to running... or else I sprint two miles and want to die and never run again 🏻🏼 I wanted to compare where I started to where I am now, and this the difference five days makes! jamazing_tiu It's sunday!! During my run today I found I ran farther, faster and easier than I did last week!! This is how I feel now though, ready to get up and kick week 3 in the butt tomorrow!! It was a rough day at work and no amount of relaxing was making me feel better, then I remembered I hadnt had a chance to workout before work... Now I feel so good and happy. Two weeks ago I never thought that running or any sort of exercise would instantly boost my mood, but it does. the_shrinkingstylist Setbacks are just getting you prepared for a comeback. I literally was one day away from completing the Couch to 5k, running 30 minutes straight. It's like I was too scared to finish something, I really don't know what my deal was. Then it got into my super busy season at work, the holidays and before you know it 6 months have gone by since my last run. Today I didn't want to work out, I rather have watched tv and lounge on the couch but I kept telling myself what's 45 minutes? So I hit the streets and was able to run 10 minutes straight.
