Normal Mr. Poopie & Mr. Pooper
thepoobrothers Help! Pappabun found three little wild cottontails in his backyard, and needs caring! We're hoping the bunnies' mom is still around to care for them, but if she doesn't come back, the hoomans gotta step in!
Any advice, my bun friends? Milk formula? Feeding time? Cecotrophes? #wildliferescue #cottontails #wildcottontail

  •   peanutbunner I would call your vet and ask them! 14h
  •   thepoobrothers They said to put them back in the burrow to wait for their mom but if the mom doesn't come back, we'll have to bring them in or send to a shelter.. @peanutbunner 14h

spike844 The two bunnies that came in on 8/13 are still doing good! Both of their eyes have opened and they are beginning to move more around their cage. Just hoping they continue to grow and thrive. #wildlife #wildliferescue #wildliferehab #wildliferehabilitation #bunnies #cottontails #rabbits #cute #adorable 3d

spike844 Two baby bunnies that came in yesterday. Their sibling was killed by a dog and these guys could not be re-nested. Because of their delicate GI tract, many times they do not do well in rehab. Wish these guys luck! So far so good. #wildlife #wildliferehab #wildliferescue #wildliferehabilitation #adorable #cute #bunnies #cottontails #rabbits 1w

  •   winterbanshee @_whogivesapluck_ I know, but it will all be over soon and then you can settle in and start decorating and nesting up in the mountains! I have missed you and hope the move goes smoothly!!! Good luck Love!!! 7d
  •   whitegirlchels14 PLEASE HELP ME! I have rabbits as pets and know everything there is to know about pet rabbits but my step dad just brought home a baby wild rabbit who looks to be a few weeks old but doesn't look too good. He's too young to fend for himself and was without any siblings and my step dad took him without looking for any evidence of a mom. There are no rehabilitation places or people in my area, only for birds. I would love your advice and I know it is very hard to rehabilitate young wild rabbits but I wanted to give this little guy a chance! Please help and give me advice!! I can't stand to see rabbits hurt! @spike844 3d
  •   spike844 @whitegirlchels14 I'm currently feeding coons and it's hard to type. If you could call me at 757-769-9421 I can give you some information. 3d

createwellbeing Just hanging out (or #upsidedown) with some #cottontails ..Several weeks ago I sustained a #lowerback injury & one of my go to postures to help combat my symptoms is.... #inversions! (Big surprise, hehe). The truth is, it's like a form of traction- it creates more space in between my discs and hydrates them, realigns my spine, reduces nerve pressure and eases muscle tension #invertyoself #inversionjunkie #healing #headstand #armbalance #namaste #outdooryoga #naturejunkie #naturelover #elkisland #freshair #earthing #healthiswealth #balance #strength #sunshine #whowearsshortshorts 2w
  •   dustinwjackson That's awesome! When you do those, does your head rest on the ground or or you supporting yourself by your arms? I did my first handstand on two chairs yesterday, I want to try on the floor now. 2w
  •   createwellbeing Oopsies.. I meant #cattails and @dustinwjackson a bit of weight is on my head.. But predominantly forearms. You must find the right alignment to ensure safety on the cervical spine:) 2w
  •   dustinwjackson Thanks for the info! I recently bought the book convict conditioning and it's changed my outlook on body weight training, so I am working towards one arm handstand push-ups. 2w
  •   systaley That's super interesting although it makes sense... Really sorry to hear about your injury. Hope you recover soon. Beautiful shot!! And perfect alignment 2w
  •   createwellbeing Aww why thanks so much @systaley .. I had physio today and I'm on the road to mending 2w

182miriam New baby #CottonTails at work. Someone found them and brought them in, which anyone who is educated about #wildlife know not to ever take them away because the mom leaves them practically all day she will be back (unless you find the mother dead their best chance of survival is take them to a rehabilitation place) .. Unfortunately I live in Laredo where almost everyone is uneducated when it comes to animals and wildlife. Number one motivation to earn my degree and come back and make a difference in this town. 2w

horoscopesoftenlie Bun bun update! I've been seriously concidering setting them free, as terrified as I am to do this, I really want them to live happy lives not be in a cage the whole time. It's hard because I've grown so attached. But want to do what's best for the bun buns. Thanks to everyone who has been following their story! Oh buns #bunnies #bunnyjourney #rescues #cottontails 2w
  •   e_c_m13 I am facing the same dilemma babe. Don't feel alone. And I probably will go with my gut and set mine free. Mine isn't nearly a quarter as tame as yours though. But go with the intuition, always ;). We have gut instinct for a reason. 2w
  •   khamham You don't think they won't have any fear of anything in the wild? 2w
  •   dragon_ladys_dragons Awe! I'd be worried about them being picked off by predators 2w
  •   dat_z33 I think they would do much better in captivity at this point. I don't think they would know how to survive in the wild 2w
  •   horoscopesoftenlie @khamham @dragon_ladys_dragons @dat_z33 im still up in the air about it. As they get older they get a little more wild and plus I don't play with them as much. My mom doesn't want me keeping them and I'd rather give them away than set them free but I'm afraid the ppl who may take them will end up thinking they aren't the tame domestic rabbits they want and end up setting them loose. And I'd feel safer doing it here since we have lots of land. Cuz I fear they will get eaten. Or run over, or god knows what else! I want to keep them :( 2w
  •   dragon_ladys_dragons Why not set up an outdoors enclosure for them like a chicken run? But rabbit proof? You can keep them and they can be "free" 2w
  •   horoscopesoftenlie @dragon_ladys_dragons really good idea 2w
