beautifullybroken217 I saw this repost from @prsuit and it said, "To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most of us just exist." I saw this, and I instantly thought of the saints. Now if you want to talk about someone living, someone really living, need to look to them. They shifted reality sometimes in their small world or they shifted reality for the whole world. One of my favorite is Blessed Mother Teresa. She shifted our reality of the poor and what being poor meant. What living in poverty meant. She did that. The saints lived. They did not nearly exist. Because of this, I dare to live and go out as a saint!

  •   fishdawg24 Honest question. Do you have a shortcut for all those hash tags or do you type them out every time? 2h
  •   jessie_goetz I have a shortcut. They are all saved in my notes and I copy and paste them. That would take way too long to type them out @fishdawg24 2h
  •   fishdawg24 Haha! Ok! That's what I was thinking! 2h

gotpics7 Chloe picked out the pink tulips for me and when Daddy asked who the purple ones were for Chloe replied, "For Mary". We were kinda dumbfounded but then when I asked Mary...who is Mary she replied, "Mother Mary" #heartswells #mothermary #sweetdaughter #catholicgirl 16h

beautifullybroken217 I remember where I was when Saint John Paul II died. I remember being in my living room and praying for him. Now I didn't really know him, but I knew he was our Church father, I knew the highlights of his life, they were showing all of them during this time, and I remember being impressed that he knew Mother Teresa, priorities, right?
It took about 9 years, but I can honestly say, Saint John Paul II is one of my greatest friends. I say nine years, because I got to know him last year. I read about all the great things he said. I watched his movies. I saw him get elected pope that way, too. But what I love the most about him, was not just that he did all these cool things, but because he continues to encourage me, today. Always talking about how to not be afraid! To find out what God wants from me, and have the courage to do it. I love that he didn't just use words, but he showed me. He showed me how to love correctly, without using people. He showed me how to put my hope and dreams aside and see how fulfilling life can be when I choose to take on God's will. He told me that God assigned every man the dignity of every woman and that was something I found hard to believe because I didn't respect my own dignity, bur I believe it today. In saying that, he taught me how to be patient and know that God did not make me for not, but with a purpose.
I wish I would have listened to him more when he was alive, but I didn't. He doesn't care. He is just happy that he can help me on my spiritual journey, now!

catholic_faith_defender Homosexual parents deprive their children of a childhood with a father and mother! They put their children in that position, single parents did not choose to do that to their kids! Pope Francis, the leader of our Church, makes it clear that children need a father and mother if at all possible!

  •   avagold123 Omg u have inspired me! I think straight parents deprive me of opportunities to be happy. I wish i had two moms, i will start my nee campaign now!! @anniequack 24h
  •   anniequack How r our parents completely different genders? 24h
  •   daughterofhecate95 @catholic_faith_defender Yet you're posting against gay adoption, something that every straight couple has the right to do and studies consistently show that gay couples are more than capable of parenting. 24h
  •   catholic_faith_defender @anniequack I meant I have a male and female parent. 23h
  •   anniequack We both have mothers... How is that completely different genders? 23h
  •   catholic_faith_defender @avagold123 I am sorry if I misguided you to think that my straight parents have caused me to be unhappy. I am very happy, and I have no doubt that having opposite sex parents contributed to that. 23h
  •   catholic_faith_defender @daughterofhecate95 Gay couples are capable of parenting, but at the cost of their child's emotional state. 23h
  •   daughterofhecate95 @catholic_faith_defender Actually studies consistently show that children in same sex households tend to do just as well as kids in nuclear households 23h

WHAT IF I TOLD YOU THAT, HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF!!!
Baltimore striking riots and destroying property. (I get the anger, but not the action)
Nepal in natural disaster
Iraq Christians dying because of their faith.
Islam, as well murdering because they don't accept the truth about our faith.
& so ON and SO forth.
Truth is we all have a war inside of us or outside of us, but can we pray for this things to end???...
Can we all unite in one voice and ask our merciful God to forgive us and to show him how much we love him through prayer.
Can we dearly accept him inside of our hearts.. Can you help me?
Can I help you?

airinvandana If you can see the quote in pic, yes it’s from the cool Dr. Seuss! Even though I like this quote in many regards, I can’t say I completely agree with it. Why? Sometimes crying is all you can do when you face struggles. I can’t imagine how much grieve people feel when they lost their loved ones because of accident, disaster, or criminal actions. We also often feel betrayed or cheated by people we once believed. And all things happened IN SUDDEN.

I put myself in their shoes for a second and thought about how I would feel. The first feelings were confusion, anger, and sadness. I questioned why God would allow for this. Then I thought about God and Jesus. Jesus also felt betrayed and sad when His people left Him before He was died in the cross. He has been wronged by mistakes He’s never done at first place. And how about family who lost their children or loved ones? God had lost a Son too…He knew what it felt like but He still give His Son for us. He is a good, gracious, and understanding God. I pictured God comforting us and carrying us through each second of our pain. We only need to let Him in and we will see the reason one day. This picture gave me hope and helped me to realize that my loved ones are always in God’s hands. We couldn’t blame God because we, as human, have a free will. But God will help and guide us to right path IF we let Him.

I know that it is perfectly normal and expected to grieve. My encouragement to everyone of you going through a loss (I know there are a lot of you) is to please grieve. Don’t feel the need to smile or to act like everything is fine. God wants us to feel what we feel. David in the Psalms constantly wrote of his frustrations, doubts, and struggles. Even though we don’t like it, our struggles DO make us STRONGER. Keep pressing on and don’t ever give up! It’s very important to have hope even when all feels lost.

So here it is, our #NuggetofReasons 4: (If I could change the quote it would be)“Do cry because it’s over, but still smile because it happened.”
