Last night I was actually talking to a member at my gym about some concerns she has in terms of her fitness goals @jane.alice25
She mentioned to me that she had a rough weekend and she kept on feeling like she can't achieve her goal. So funnily enough I mentioned to her is it that little voice in her head telling her what's the point of all this or you can't achieve your goal and she said yes.
The outcome of the conversation was basically regardless of you being an experienced member of the gym, an athlete, newcomer to the gym everyone has that little voice in there head which will tell them they can't achieve what they set out for. Don't allow that voice or doubt phase you, it's normal. It's the part of the process your body is used to a certain regime and once you break out of that regime your body will become used to a new regime and that little voice in your head will go away for a while.   •   itrain_diaries I've just had 2wks of eating all sorts too @acolon76. Just goes to show how extra calories aren't a bad thing. I now have to eat more to fuel my muscles! Loving the extra carbs and fats. 2h
  •   acolon76 I actually DM you a question about gaining lol... I've lost too much and I'm trying to gain 5 lbs back but I don't want to lose what I've worked so hard to achieve thus far. I'm not sure how to approach this. 2h
  •   itrain_diaries I'm def not a professional on this but what I'm doing is increasing my complex carbs (rice, pasta, pumpkin, sweet potato etc) and allowing myself fattier cuts of protein (ie chicken thigh without skin as opposed to a lean breast). It's all apart of my new meal plan. My PT says to add these to your plate as a source of fuel not stacked on their for volume. Good fats are your things like almonds, avocado, egg yolks, flaxseed fish or coconut oil, fat content in meat. Even if you start by introducing a few extra carbs to you meals and a choice of one or two fats and see how your body responds from there. Takes a bit of time to see what works for each body type @acolon76 1h
