Carach Angren's Death Came Through A Phantom Ship is basically a baroque classical style of Symphonic Black Metal that fits the contemporaneous acts so unbelievably amazing. Lyrically, this is a concept album about a legend discussing Netherlands literature. Consists of 9 tracks including a intro also the opening of the story with the track "Al Betekent Het Mijn Dood" which is a interlude. Vocally, they're in perfect shape makes you feel a sense of natural narration and chanting within the presentation this album discusses. Every song represents consecutively beautiful magnifications which is a wild imagination beyond the mysterious and darkness glimpses a landmark through Carach's musical career. Quality wise the release is fantastic. Unlike other Black Metal band that concentrates albums under low production which obviously makes it cleverer to understand the fact this isn't just a typical Symphonic Black Metal being a ripoff. All the songs as listed are theatricality appealing. The first three songs are about a boat operator who saw the ship and then haunted by it, killing his wife and daughter because his dream thought the interluder and a hound have done it. Progressively onto this album they're based upon the life of a crew and captain of the Phantom Ship before they've all passed. The vocals as mentioned bring fourth a splendid atmosphere perfectly that naturally speaking you feel the horror beneath emotions in his voice throughout the album. Instrumentations are on par as well using the drumming as melodic and ridiculously fast. I also have major respect for this band because the contributions using the balance of orchestrations is breathtakingly and extremely memorable after first listen. I mean the song Blood Stains On The Captains Log without a doubt my absolute favorite Carach Angren song due to the structuring violin work is easily the most accessible and versatile tracks I've heard. This is an album that really captivated my expectations.

seditionthroughscorn Now Reviewing: Bathory's self titled "Bathory"
Bathory members:
Quorthon (Thomas Borje Forsberg) Vocals, Guitar & Production
Stefan Larsson- Drums
Rickard Bergman- Bass Guitar
Bathory's self titled album is an absorbing particular style of Black Metal album that makes the listener light candles in a Darkened room with ethnic experiences so novelty looking that the music is properly connected quite well. Quorthon is perhaps one of the most upfront, intelligent, sophisticated musician in the history of Black Metal. He simply wrote this album when he was 18 years old after being heavily influenced by Venom and possibly the debut of Slayers first release. Bathory's self titled have also inspired the first wave of Norwegian Black Metal scene with acts from Emperor, Dimmu Borgir, Satyricon and much more popular bands. This is essentially a milestone album due to the Satanism imagery while basically Quorthon have already made major history for his personality traits. Bands such as Mayhem, Darkthrone and Emperor were very influential by the lyrical themes of satanism and viking edque content. Their debut is raw, and without a doubt Quorthon believed heavily in viking gods and most of his musical talents after first two studio lengths were based upon the lives and viscous battles of norsemen. Musically these songs are fantastic with simple defining and stronger riffs which all built upon easy verses/ courses structures much in the same vein as Venom. Quorthon's guitar playing is proficient but rest assure the band members all played flawlessly. Vocally his balance between demonic howlings and sleazy Rock N' Roll charmingly energy surely made his tonality spectacular. A revolutionary album back in 1984 at the time the instrumentations were primarily flawed through lack of circumcision and budget finances. Packed of heavy riffs, skillful solos and amazing blazing drumming work, Bathory's self titled is a disoriented pace to evolutionary be the first Black Metal album ever recorded. Unfortunately Quorthon passed away in 2004 from a devastating heart failure. His legacy is the reason why Bathory became the first ever Black Metal band to be which pioneered the genre. RIP

seditionthroughscorn Now Reviewing: Summoning- MINAS MORGUL
Summoning members:
Protector- Vocals, Guitars & Keyboards
Silenius- Bass, Keyboards & Vocals
Summoning's Minas Morgul was easily constructed by Isidur on Second Age of Middle-Earth. With this album they've managed to use programmed drumming that felt right in their own directional style. Over 11 songs and clocking in for one hour and ten minutes, Minas Morgul is a epic trilogy of Black Metal. Combining the everlasting elements of harmonisation atmospheric melodies, they've improved so drastically in musical development. Quality of this album is very raw in the mixing production but the music is created with sorrowfully choirs including the track "Marching Homewards". Lyrically, this is JRR Tolkien worship due to the poetic songs. It's a deep connection that's organic and physically speaking Summoning mixes outstanding perfection between passage ways of the lyric content. Marching Homewards again is the most depressive song connecting a magical chapter related to contract the music. Minas Morgul is their own pure essence and unique style with every title track passes a time warp of imagination. The details that they've produced is a dark voyage through dark descents of Arda. The reminiscences of various riffs heavy songs aside from the forgotten fondness really lifts an spirit elemental gives the listener what it'll be beyond the realms of Middle-Earth. The immerse style of Atmospheric Black Metal is so magnificently catchy in every corridor makes Minas Morgul one of the best albums they've done in their solidarity progression. Beautiful, vast fantastical performances makes Summoning a fantastic benchmark artist continously to bring magnetic patterns of excellence and worshipping. Summoning without a doubt are an absolute pioneer to the genre due to their creative retrospective ideas forefronted the formulas of Atmospheric Black Metal have never been so blown away. I really suggest checking this art of a album if possible! For a two piece group they've earn amongst the giants keeping Lord Of The Rings tradition alive.

dansaltz #70k was a shitshow like no other. My first cruise experience and it happened to be with 9 of the best friends I could ask Satan for, plus a bunch of extremely evil and respectable bands, terrible pizza and crucially placed hot tubs. What a weekend! #onaboat #independence #america #jamaica #gangactivity #turnupteam #clownsquad #tardfest #powerrangers #powermoves 1d
