jenblei My wonderful daughter @kirstenniebler just got back from her first solo trip to Europe- well done Kirsten.
Given that her fellow triplets are autistic adults, she locked in on this notebook. Autistic adults in Hungary have very little support for independent living, and the MOHA foundation's AutisticArt project is a way raise awareness and provide opportunities. Thanks Kirsten, not just for the book, but for the reminder that the struggle to provide good and fulfilling and useful support for adults who need it is universal.
There a link to MOHA in my profile- it's worth checking out an organisation whose goal is "to help people with autism live in circumstances worthy of human life". #autism #autisticart #adultautism

rach_1680 I always get shocked with the artistic work my eldest comes up with. He has such an amazing talent and could not be more proud of his work. #face #faceart #artist #artistic #natrualartist #amazing #proudmum #handdrawn #autisticart #autisticartist 4d

mfb_sketch It is already a year after the earthquake hits Nepal. When the original sketch was completed last year the eartquake has destroyed the famous Dharahara Tower, the symbol of Kathmandu.

All the remnance left is the drawing of the tower on the day it collapsed.

artmeetsautism Space Station in Future by Huang Wei-Han, a 12-years-old Taiwan autistic boy who express his imagination with his marker pen. Wei-Han's philosophy is, "everything I see should be captured by eye camera and file in my brain, I'll re-open it for paining". #autism #art #imagination #taiwan #imaginationarts #autisticart 1mon

  •   _the_wacko_green_alien_1212_ It can depend on situation for me. I'm not as quite severe reaction as the boy in the video but I can react bad sometimes. I remember being in shops when I was younger with the shop music playing, people talking/shouting, machines making noise, voice over, cars outside and I was hitting my head and yelling 'STOP NOISE! STOP NOISE!' And screaming. It was not fun. I'm a bit older now so I don't react as severely as back when I was about 5-7. I didn't speak much until 5 anyway. 1w
