cole713 Here's the story: I was inappropriately dressed for the occasion, as per usual, but I had a pair of rubber-soled boots w/grip in the trunk so I figured "might as well try the little hike," despite coming from giving a bunch of blood as doctors try to figure out WTF is wrong w/my body. I'm used to medium heat (in the 80s) and extreme humidity (the windward sides of the islands get rain pretty much daily), but NOT used to 100 degrees & ZERO wind. The stillness of the heat in this depressing abandoned zoo is ruining my makeup and the creepiness going on above that place is starting to give me a headache. I'm bitching about the bugs trying to eat me & the gross flies ruining my photos (I'm not a bug person) when I just start wandering, not even looking up, mostly hoping I don't look like a doll in a microwave, & when I look up there's this weirdly amazing flash of color amidst nothing but dead everything. So, the color is real--all I did was add some grit & shadow. I think it was that creepy forest's way of telling me to STFU & get back to the AC. 12min

tivento Aprons of Tíbet (1/5). One of the most characteristic traditional garment of women in Tibet is the apron. They wear thick dark clothing but the most original part is the apron made with a pinstripe bright and cheerful colors. They are beautiful and there are still many women who wear them, like this woman in Potala Palace. 15h
