shelle_will_lose_it My first ever roast pork and it was amazing. Cooked in the slow cooker with a bunch of apples. I don't really like pork as I find it a bit too dry but this was melt in your mouth moist. Will be doing this again for sure. Couldn't eat it all. i.eat.pancakes Morning finally Friday. I'm feeling better today so went to crossfit. Got new fresh blister on my hand though. This is breakfast i had the other day. @fage 0% greek yogurt, maple syrup, and muesli plus orange and some mint sprinkle on top. And as usual, white coffee with some @alpro unsweetened almond milk. I need to get some more check ups over the next few weeks but I'm sure everything is fine and everything will get better. Happy friday everyone xx

ramblingthrurecovery One of my favorite pages in #itstartswithfood.... Along with my struggles with bulimia, I deal with an overpowering negative mind at times. These words brought tears to my eyes because I think reading this was the first time I believed that I could do this. If you've read the book, you are probably familiar with the prime rib and Oreo scenario. Well, for as long as I can remember, I have never ever felt hungry or full. I've felt skinny or fat. Not only could I eat three bags of Oreos, I could eat four 12 oz prime ribs as well. I remember before developing an eating disorder, time spent at my grandmas when I would sneak ice cream bars out of her freezer. I would eat two or three BOXES of English toffee ice cream bars while my mom and grandma visited for an hour. This was years before I consciously started starving myself or making myself throw up. Thinking back now, it's pretty obvious I was messed up before. I don't know if a #whole30 body reset is enough to reset my years of bad habits and abuse to my body. But I'm more than willing to try. I have so much hope that fixing the psychological and hormonal damage that "frankenfoods" have done to my mind and body will allow me to achieve the recovery I so desperately desire! #whole30feb2nd #seewhatimeanaboutrambling #instatherapy #layingitouthere #thanksfornotjudging #recoveryismine #igotthis #iliterallycan 29min

samjgranger #Whole30 Day 13. Today was not so hard, though I'm not feeling particularly energetic and food is not that exciting. Food is especially not exciting when you cook steak that tastes like it might have gone bad but you're not really sure and oh dear it's touching all the other food on the plate. 😦 So sad. I love steak. Anyway, today I was still hyper-aware of all the foods I'm choosing not to eat right now. But I can have banana, coconut milk and shredded coconut. Together. So I did. I suspect it would also be nice frozen on a horribly hot day, but that might be crossing the line into faux ice cream territory, so, nah. 33min

sebimems So dinner is happening at 12:05am, but at least it's happening! I have been so tired lately that when I put my boy down for bed I usually end up falling asleep before he does! Here I have a #grassfed beef patty, a slice of @Tillamook cheese, some @lousnaturals nitrite/nitrate-free #bacon, a few slices of #organic #avocado, and half of a serving (yes, I actually weighed out 14g!) of @honest_chips potato chips. If you haven't had these chips you need to try them, they are amazing!
