hannah_inprogress After a busy, yet fun and productive day, I am finally finished meal prepping for our lunches for the week! Baked chicken with roasted veggies! alisonbrooke Day 21: Super fun family day at Disneyland. Not so easy to eat paleo/whole30 .... But we made relatively good choices and while not 100% compliant I'd say we weren't very far off. We had some yummy mango, pineapple, bacon wrapped asparagus, beef skewers (sauce likely not complaint) and I had a chicken salad (dressing not compliant) .... Overall I'm still super proud of our choices made food wise today. I had always heard that it takes 21 days to form a habit .... And I was looking forward to day 21 .... But then recently in the new #whole30 book I read they said something like 60 days! Haha! I will keep plugging along.... annaleahart This 3rd round of #Whole30 has been the best yet. Sugar cravings were kicked in the first 48 hours. What?!? I started feeling #fibromyalgia pain relief in just days. I've had only 2 headaches these past 12 days vs the daily ones I was suffering from. My sleep had dramatically improved and I am waking up with energy!!! My skin is clearer and brighter plus I am down a pant size and able to wear pre-pregnancy jeans again. Seriously, folks. And this coconut milk-spinach-banana-berry smoothie that served as a quick breakfast before church today actually tasted too sweet even though @loutrel thought it was a tad bitter. #sweettoothconquered #icandothis #paleo 23min

healthy.happiness_ Made some homemade Kale Chips yesterday. Delicious! Today is Day 6, and so far I'm feeling great and not as tired as I was before starting this. sisterswhole100 From page 282 in the new book! Green cabbage slaw with lemon oil. We made it yesterday with Ribs. I liked it but today I LOVED it. We had so much left over I had some with lunch and dinner and also packed some in my lunch for tomorrow. The flavors really soak in after sitting for more than 12 hours. It is SO easy to make! The basil and cashews add awesome flavor. Pair it with any protein and you have a great meal. Tonight it was complimented with salmon and tomorrow's lunch has chicken. This could be my new dish to bring to BBQ'S this summer! !
