  •   tikiswag I love that your "sketch pad" is a stack of coasters. 12h
  •   nicoleamodio This looks awesome! 12h
  •   tikirob @make a few tonight? Wow I wish I was as fast as you are. I can't wait to see them! 12h
  •   tikitony @tikiswag haha! Yeah, I used to use a sketchbook, still do, but always have coasters on me. Haha. @nicoleamodio Thanks! @tikirob They're really pretty simple. I roll out a slab, drape it over a plaster bowl, let it harden a bit while I press a lava rock into the outside for texture then sculpt a few little toucans and masks to push onto side. I have slip cast volcanos I put in center. Boom, done. Haha. We'll see if I even do one tonight, had some delays. 10h
  •   tikirob Cool, do you have one of those rollers to roll out your slabs? It's ok to add a slip cast volcano to a clay bowl? 10h
  •   tikitony @tikirob we so have a slab roller, although it broke :( but I always just used a wood rolling pin on mdf board. As long as the clay is both low fire and similar wetness, they can attach. I actually have attached them in the glaze firing too, just set the volcano on the glazed bowl and it sticks solid. 8h
  •   tikirob makes sense. I've heard of glaze being used as glue before. I can't wait to see one. 8h
