wrkoutqueenie Today is July 1st and is the start of a new month! This also begins my #30DaysOfTRX vids! Each day I will be demonstrating a new #TRX movement!
July 1: PLANK: TRX is at mid-calf length, facing away from the anchor point.
Level 1: knees are on the ground, shoulders down & back, actively engage the core by lifting the hips! Rest on your knees
Level 2: lift knees off the ground, engage the core and extend your legs, pulling your toes towards your shins. Maintain a straight line w/your ankles, hips, shoulders and ears!
Level 3: follow instructions from level 2, starting from the knees, only this time executing the plank from your hands.
Try holding this movement for 30-50 secs for about 3-4 reps! Happy Planking!! Don't forget to tag your #TRXPlank with this hash tag #30DaysOfTRX !!!!! #Nike hat, sports, leggings & Free's. @trxtraining

wrkoutqueenie GET RID OF ALL YOUR EXCUSES!!! This week I am introducing nothing but exercises that can be done outside of a gym!! No membership required!! Today we take to the stairs!!! (No stairs for you if you have knee, back, or hip issues...SORRY) Have a lunch break? You can do this? No babysitter? With a little patience and a few safety measures, you can do this :) Have 20 min? YOU CAN DO THIS!! Start out with a 3-5 min warm up. This can be 30 sec intervals of jumping jacks, toe taps (lightly touching the base stair w/the balls of your feet while jumping), step-ups, etc

Start the stair climb!!! Run up your set of stairs and WALK back down! (Safety FIRST) do this for 5 minutes.

Legs are what I did today and that can be squats w/a hop on the alternate stair. (Squat on one stair, hop w/feet together on the next, pictured on the inset). Lunges can be done 2 stairs at a time or more, depending on how long your legs are and your core strength. Lateral lunges help target your inner thigh area! Make sure you do both your left and right side, equally.
4-6 sets of these should do the trick!
Don't forget to stretch afterwards! Very, very important!

wrkoutqueenie HeY IG!!! If you're comfortable using a #TRX for an advanced move, try the Spider-Man push-up!!! I personally love challenges, which I think is the reason I'm great at what I do! If you are ready....try it!!! Here you go:

Suspension trainer is at mid-calf length, single-handle mode
Facing away from the anchor point, one foot goes in the foot cradle. As you lower into the push-up position, bend your opposite hip and bring the knee up to your elbow, return to the plank position and repeat! I normally go for 8-10 reps each leg! Looks easy huh? Don't be fooled! Lol! Go for it!!! @trxtraining

Prior to training with me, these wouldn't go over her thighs! She's made some diet changes and nixed a few bad habits as well! Good ol' diet and exercise...tried and ONLY true method for permanent weight loss! Give it up to her for sticking to her goal! We are on our way to size 8's! Stay tuned!

wrkoutqueenie Be mindful. Pay attention to the origin of your food!!! We can NOT rely on these food companies and our gov't to protect us! They both profit at your body's expense. I may sound a little overzealous but you would be too if you knew what I do! Do your research! Read!!! Observe!!! You are worth far more (to our gov't) if you are sick and in need of prescription meds to stay alive, NOT HEALTHY. Do NOT be naïve! Before you ask....GMO's = genetically modified organisms...Have a good night y'all! 2y

3. Physically stopping an exercise before I say "STOP" due to MENTAL weakness. (There are physical exceptions). Real bootcamp! Lol! I'm trying to put them through SOME of the hell I went through in Basic but they're having wayyyy too much fun! Lol.
They are learning to get fit while still being accountable for their comrades :) Assignments are on the way ladies! wrkoutqueenie WELCOME SPRING!!!! I'm too excited that today is the 1st day of Spring even though the weather here isn't the greatest! It still means bikini season is NEAR!! Ayyyeeee!!!! <<--*in my vc* lol I love saying that

I'm looking forward to my clients posting pics like this during the season too! My IG family inspires me as well! Each time you guys tag me in your progression pics or your healthy meals, it really makes my heart smile! I feel so valued and appreciated! I know people say it all the time but I am truly just doing what comes natural to me!!! To my family I'm just that "weird health nut." <<--TRUE STORY (more abt that later but just know to ALWAYS FOLLOW YOUR HEART ) but social media seems to be soaking it up! I LOVE IT and it keeps me going and inspired to constantly challenge you all!
Today starts a new season! Use this as the 1st day of a new attitude! Stay positive! Continue to grow! Be the BEST version of you that has yet to be released STOP • Beating yourself up for failed attempts at diet/exercise! This DOES NOTHING!! Learn from your mistakes and what doesn't work and MOVE ON! • REMOVE negative people out your LIFE! They are literally poison and leach away at your SOUL DAILY whether you know it or not! If you are in a period of transition (changing to a healthier lifestyle, etc) this is especially important! I can NOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH! You are already in a fragile state! You DO NOT need anyone telling u you can not do this (including yourself, my clients get punished for saying this) or that you aren't capable. YOU CAN!
DO:
• Surround yourself with like-minded people. Even if they aren't on your level at the moment, as long as they are open minded you both can learn from each other #growth • Stay committed! If this weight loss journey is crucial for you then you owe it to yourself to GET HEALTHY! YOU, your kid(s) and spouse are depending on you! You are NO GOOD to anyone if you are drugged up on meds, making constant hospital visits, or have no energy all day bc your diet sucks! --- Get RIGHT y'all!

wrkoutqueenie Today's PLANKKKK & Pike combo!!! FYI: This is a pretty advanced move so make sure you've done some core prepping before attempting it. Okay...you all have seen me do this move on a #TRX before but in case you don't have access to one, it can still be performed. Take a #BOSU ball and flip it upside down. Place hands on each side. (Have gloves! This rubber is hard and hurts!) Grab a #Stability ball and get into a plank position. After you have your balance, slide your feet towards your chest, coming up on your toes. Tuck your head in between your ears simultaneously. Extend and repeat! #Abs #Core #Strength #Fitinspo #Fitness #TeamFitFemales #Motivation #Nike 2y

  •   sopinkfudge @stayluv83 only 1. 3 Way too much 4 females.. I research prior to taking it tho. I do one in the mornings whn I dnt train. Training days I do pre/post workout. It's been great 4 me in regards to muscle recovery. 2y
  •   mswhitesides Yea.. I switched to MM Light it has less calories.. But I was taking W60 and other supplements when I was training with my Crossfit coach. 2y
