fortramon Sneak peak to the sleek interior of #TheGlobeArtGallery was like being transported to a #SpaceStation (atleast that's what thought). From the lobby, guests can take the glass staircase going to the basement where the art gallery is located. Once there, you'll be welcomed by ultra comfy lounge perfect for socials. Nice place! #Confluence Exhibit featuring 3 women artists will run till October 3, Mon-Fri 9am-7pm. Come visit! #TheGlobeTower #GlobeTower #GlobeArtGallery 2h

Starry, Starry Sky from the Space Station: An Expedition 41 crew member aboard the Earth-orbiting International Space Station on Sept. 13, 2014, captured this image of a starry sky. The white panel at left belonging to the ATV-5 spacecraft, which is docked with the orbital outpost, obstructs the view of Scorpius. The red star Antares is directly to the left of the bottom of the second ATV panel from the top. The two stars that are close together and on the lower left of the photo comprise Shaula, the tip of the scorpionâ€s tail. The open cluster close to Shaula is M7. The hardware at bottom right is part of one of the station's solar panels.

Grazie!!!!

jessicaressica83 #Repost from @nasa with @repostapp --- Space station's Expedition 41 crew focused on eye exams and scientific research aboard the orbiting complex Thursday while continuing preparations for the arrival of the other half of their crew next week.

Photographed with a mounted automated camera, this is one of a number of images featuring the European Space Agency's fifth Automated Transfer Vehicle docked with the station.

franjoalpez #Repost from @nasa with @repostapp --- We all know that it's what's on the inside that counts, right? But sometimes what's outside can be just as important. At least that's the case with the International Space Station (ISS) and the collection of external instruments soon to join those already operating in orbit. Moving at 17,500 miles per hour and operating around 240 miles above Earth, the space station circles at a 51.6 degree inclination north and south of the equator, offering a unique platform to mount research equipment. The space station's orbit circles the globe 16 times daily to cover more ground at different times of day, while other satellites follow a sun-synchronous orbit-crossing the equator at the same local time every revolution. For this reason, data from station-mounted instruments can complement those gathered from similar satellite missions to fill in gaps for greater scientific returns.

A view of Earth's atmosphere from the International Space Station during Expedition 23 illustrates the unique vantage point the orbiting laboratory provides for externally mounted instruments.

Answer:
It’s not the greatest, it’s not as good as on Earth, and my favorite food was the chicken in peanut sauce. #Swanny
