jacfitclub Bent Over Barbell Rows are one of my favorite exercises and one of the most effective for back strength / size!

Bending at the hip, keep your back straight. Pull your shoulder blades toward your back pockets to keep the upper back tight. Row the bar to your navel and imagine pulling back with your elbow to help activate your lats!

Your horizontal pulling exercises (like rows) should match or be near your strength on horizontal pushing exercise (like benching).
