  •   the_oma_life Okay this could be a long answer lol. My favorite lifting exercises are squats (using the squat rack), deadlifts, lunges, pull downs, push ups, and presses. That's the core of what I do with different variation in between now that I won't go into since you're probably interested in the basics. I personally lift for 40 min to an hour. If I do cardio it's usually with jump rope, stair machine, and if I use the treadmill it's only to do high intensity intervals. Most of the time my cardio is done from the outdoor track though. When I do cardio it's anywhere from 20 min to an hour, but that's with built in breaks...I usually take a break after each 20 min of cardio (because it's high intensity). I learned good lifting workouts online when I first started - bodybuilding.com is a good site. I learned a lot from the book New Rules of Lifting for Women too @raychherr 1y
