annapetisidoro My tree came from #Monrovia via #SloatGardens here in Kentfield.

Just when the tomatoes are about done, #BlackJackFig starts to ripen. There is always one fig ready for taste test. On average, fruits weigh between 40-45g when I don't fertilize (like this season). When I don't forget, I use #organic fertilizer.

This is an attractive garden tree and has an interesting winter appearance. Especially sweet, elongated purple fruit is produced in late summer (in my garden). Semi-dwarf form makes it a good choice where space is limited.
