peanutbutterandmeghan Lunch is a turkey burger on a ww bun, and tomatoes and cucumbers topped with cottage cheese. I ALSO had two pierogies afterward because they're my absolute favorite the focus for today is working on my application to be an RA. I've put it off for a loooong time and it's due Wednesday!! this process has made me realize how truly important recovery is. When I'm engaging in behaviors, I become very self-centered and my focus is really only on myself. In order to give of myself to others, whether in an RA position or just as a friend, I need to get out of my own head. I can't give other people and my academics the time they all deserve if I'm spending it working out or eating in private. Logistically speaking--this lifestyle isn't sustainable. Not if I want to be the best, most loving person I want to be. My life needs to be a little less about me. 56min

  •   figsontoast @rachierachy for a big Kilner Jar full I used; 600g Fresh Figs, 240g Honey/Maple Syrup/ Agave or whatever liquid sweetener you prefer, 50ml Water, 3tbsp Lemon Juice. Stem & Quarter the figs and leave them to sit in the sweetener and water for half an hour. Bring them to a boil over a medium high heat and cook for a few minutes, before lowering to a simmer and cooking for 45 - 60 minutes, stirring often. Add the lemon juice and cook for another few minutes before removing from heat and leaving to cool (or if your like me, testing and facing the consequences. .. ) xo 1h
