jacobmcdonaldfitness #TBT to what was my best ever shape. This picture was taken in October last year and I remember weighing in that morning at 87.5 kilograms, or 193 pounds. This was one week after my first ever show with the NZIFBB in September where I competed in Mens Physique Novice and Open 180cm+ division. I'd gone out on a whim and entered that show unexpectedly as I was actually dieting for a show 3 weeks later with the WBFF but thought "Fuck It", I was in the area so jumped up there and loved it. I came 5th out of 6 in the novice category and 2nd out of 2 in the open category lol.. The 170-180cm division was definately the most popular with around 20 guys competing I think. Following that I still went through with my original plan and competed with the WBFF as an Amatuer Male Fitness Model, not making the top 10 out of 26 guys. Unfortunately after taking this picture the foot was taken off the gas somewhat and I was unable to dial my condition in any further.. This time I will! 41min

teamrishifitness Time for Post comp update!! So it's been 3 weeks since my INBA comp and 2 weeks of my ANB competition. Feeling really full with glycogen and the sugar gains (sometimes) I have been having... Love how much energy I have when I workout and enjoying flexible diet aswell... I am nearly 5 kilos heavier than my comp day weight. Some people say you need to do the reverse diet when you are in a calorie deficient for 10-12 weeks. This is the best way anyway or go to your maintenance calories and see how your body reacts every week. Well this is what I have been doing. I was 78.5 after a few days of my comp which you would expect but now with training and flexible diet I am back to 77. Hopefully try to gain 200-400 gms every week as you don't wana put on too much body fat. My diet has been that great but I am enjoying the process. I have been using these extra sugar gains and calories towards my workout. At the moment I workout 7-8 times, 5 cardio sessions and 2 HIIT sessions per week. See what I can bring on stage next time when I compete with the help of my coach the legend @duncanrankine 🏾🏾
