shaaniworld That's 3km done today on the crosstrainer 10 x 27kg on the abdominal machine followed by 10 x 18kg and 10 x 23kg 15 x 25kg on the chest press 13 x 20kg on the shoulder press I'm pleased with that

shaaniworld For the past few gym visits I have been going back to my old routine which actually used to work quite well for the initial changes Crosstrainer (around 20 minutes)
Abdominal (27-37kg x 8)
Chest press (20kg x 10)
Shoulder press (20kg x 5)

And I feel much better already. I'm waiting for my muscle memory to kick in. I know I can do this. Just need to focus and stay committed. My plan is cardio and lift heavy but start off slow. Changes will happen. I managed to undo a year's worth of training and discipline by stopping gym and eating crap. Now I wanna fix the mess!

shaaniworld Okay so my weight gain has been horrendous. Back on the gym hype. I managed to put on 5kg in 22 days and it's incredibly visible cue annoying jibes from your average bullies who like to stereotype overweight people. BUT I'm not that unfit #praisethelord and I wouldn't say I eat tonnes of junk. I think I messed up by leaving the crosstrainer. My calf muscles are so huge. I just wanted to slim down so I started running. Unfortunately this did nothing for me but act as a catalyst to getting out of shape. I know stress eating never helps... But it could have been a lot worse. There's something about the crosstrainer that helps pull in the abdomen area and carved me a waist. Whereas the treadmill just ruins that progress. Oh well
Better the devil you know. I'm back on the machine that originally changed my life. There is hope. I can do this

shaaniworld Today I started off on the treadmill but kept stopping for some reason. My stamina has completely burnt out. After 15 minutes I moved onto the spinning bike and did not stop. Kept the resistance really low. shaaniworld This video is important to me. I never imagined I could go on the treadmill for so long. There are two types of overweight people; those who are unfit and can't even walk a few metres and those who are overweight but still reasonably fit. Fat doesn't always mean unfit. I managed to stay on level 6 (my jogging/fast walking speed) for over 20 minutes and 2km. I thank the Lord I'm still able to run. When I was younger I loved to run and now I'm going to try and find that passion and stamina again
