zandazarina and while waiting for the mass in the park next to temple this local english teacher came to me with couple of his students. he said he comes here every day in between lectures to practise his english with foreigners and sometimes brings his students with him. his english was pretty good for a vietnamese, he said american soldiers taught it to him during the american war in vietnam. also he told me that in school they usually teach just writing and reading, if students want to learn talking, they have to pay for private lessons which not many can afford. #caodaitemple #tayninh #vietnam 1w
  •   zandazarina so i had to answer some funny questions like:"do you like shopping?" me:"well, ever since i started travelling i try not to. i prefer to save my money for travelling." or:"when do you plan to get married?" me:"love is someting you can't plan." and so on.. ️ anyways was my pleasure to talk to them and it was the best way i could imagine spending my time while waiting. made me think that should try to find some local scool and do couple of lessons with local kids while i'm here in asia. although my english is far from perfect it's still way better than average local teacher here. #englishteaching 1w

  •   zandazarina was lucky to experience day mass in cao dai temple - centre of caodaism, a religion that blends together buddhism, christianity and confucianism. ladies pray on the left side, man on the right. temple was stunning both from inside and outside! worth a visit if you have a free day in ho chi minh and don't know what to do with it. #caodaitemple #tayninh #vietnam 1w
  •   mudziga @zandazarina cao dai ir diezgan īpatnēja padarīšana un viņu tempļi arī ir parasti naivistiski krāsaini.. Cik saprotu, sastopams tikai D Vjetnamā 1w
