To correct this embarrassing mistake construction crews secretly worked at night to reinforce the columns with the extra 2'' of necessary reinforced steel. We only found out about this secret fiasco 18 years later after a New Yorker article in 1995 broke the story. 3y

  •   brogersre Also heard that the slanted roof was initially for solar panels but then they realized that they'd slanted it in the wrong direction for that. Urban legend? 3y
