danimone I completed Month 1 of #INSANITY TODAY!!! Day off tomorrow and then on to the Recovery Week before the HOROR that is Month 2 begins. Lol.
I'm getting a lot out of this journey. I realized that I have an obsessive personality so I stopped weighing myself. I only measure... im down 2 inches in my waste, and 1.5 inches in my hips. I'm not trying to get "skinny" I just want to be at my best.
Which translates to my spiritual life. I've been thru a lot. I carry the weight of past failures, and hurts. However, when you do things to better yourself that weight becomes the very thing that strengthens you. It turns from "Fat" to "Muscle". So then you stop basing who you are on the weight you carry (things that have happened to you). You stop weighing and judging yourself and you begin to measure yourself by the progress you see. By how you've changed and how strong you've become!

fruitandfamily 11 weeks post partum with baby #3. Im super happy with the progress. Don't be fooled though, my butt is another story. I need a good year at least to get that one back. Working on it. I practice what I preach.. I never calorie restrict. I eat A LOT of carbs, mostly fruit, rice and potatoes. I love greens too. Fat is kept low but still a small part of every day. I havent touched meat/dairy/eggs in almost 3 years. I try to stay far far away from processed food, oil and salt. It is not a sacrafice, it's a joy. Full of juicy sweet, and savory meals. Real food. I have barely exercised, waiting for spring. Sorry for the long write up, just hoping to answer any of your questions ahead of time. Let's definitely plan something for the summer, would be nice to meet a like minded mom :) we are in the same boat too, my hubby is not vegan either, but he seems to be coming along 2w

frannn_evcl Many of you ask me what exercise I do, so here it is... Zumba Fitness for Wii comes with the belt all you have to do is place the remote on the side pocket. I absolutely love this workout! Not only is it fun but it also monitors your weight also counts your calories.
