  •   katdferraro @zerowastehome I already filled it out but don't remember what I put on the card (temp or long term). I already got off the penny saver, got online billing for geico and am currently tackling att and that darn dominos pizza. 2d

  •   beachlovephotography I like what @marysgold said. Stewardship. I've been thinking a lot about that word recently. We should REFUSE to accept the label of "consumers" and insist that we be called "stewards." I'm wasn't placed on this earth to use up every possible resource that I could get my hands on. I am here protect this place, borrow it for a little while and pass it on better than I found it. And a very satisfying way to do that is to pick up litter! 2d

  •   eco_worrior Sorry I don't agree! Most wind power across the globe is owned by the energy company's! And they over charge us for free energy! I have designed a system that everyone can afford and save 80% thus reducing the wolves profits and making the planet truly a better place to be in! 2w
  •   oyikk Share the knowledge then,...we'll wait 2w
  •   umm_khadidja @eco_worrior please share 2w
  •   eco_worrior I've been on a journey of energy sustainability since 2004. I am a master plumbing and heating engineer from Scotland. In my travels in energy independence I stumbled across venture capitalists funded by the energy company's telling the manufacturers to make solar less efficient! Of course! they said! "You just purchased $1m worth of material. I will make what you want! " that was my first discovery. I have invented several components to save energy as you can see in (google, green planet eco systems). But the key is to not have a single source energy but to harness natural surrounding energy and tie it into solar! I have discovered a specific formula on how to design a system for any building currently using grid power and fuel! @oyikk @umm_khadidja 2w

  •   kristinespinasse Hello, Bea! Just bought a copy of your book and love the intro chapter and your writing. I live near Bandol, after following my heart to France (from Arizona!). Married to a Marseillais, we are growing a vineyard and a permaculture garden here in St. Cyr-sur-Mer. A long ways to go to change our ways (and use much less packaging!), but your book is already helping. Merci beaucoup et joyeux noël! 1mon

  •   marianms Related to alternative energy...IKEA here in Austin has touchless faucets in the bathrooms that run off the light in the restrooms...no more batteries! The roof of the building is covered with solar panels, and in some (can't remember how many) they are expecting to produce more energy than they use :-). Nope don't work for them, but I do wish more businesses would follow suit with alternative energy! 1mon
