wovenspirit My bold adventurer... oh how I love and admire his indomitable spirit... 3d
  •   littlepapaya Yep. My kids are going off at the moment. They aren't behaving badly at all just going at life full throttle and despite how tiring it is it is such a joy to witness and have their energy in my life ... 3d
  •   missverse 3d
  •   littlepapaya (I specify "not behaving badly at all" cos it somehow is always linked to boldness, being spirited and physically adventurous ... couldn't be further from the truth in my mind) 3d
  •   dukekai Amazingly beautiful shot 3d
  •   keiranlusk Love this shot Mietta! Delightful! 3d
  •   womanlyfire On top of the world! 2d
  •   tafariorganics Love her!! 2d

wovenspirit We've got post-holiday/break blues over here... trying to snap us out of the funk with a lunch of fresh kale chippies and a bowl of udon/seaweed/raw veg noodles... Anaru is addicted to kale chips :) 3d
  •   malikipirate Looks awesome 3d
  •   shelleylawnikanis Looks amazing. Got kale chip addicts here too 3d
  •   thenectarcafe Fern is too! I made a batch the other day and she devoured them in minutes! Even I'd forgotten how good they were x 3d
  •   wovenspirit Thanks @malikipirate ! was very yummy!! 3d
  •   wovenspirit Such a good way to use the really thick kale @shelleylawnikanis @thenectarcafe even my little dinosaur struggles to get through the really curly or toughened dark green kale varieties (he'll chew them up, but then won't swallow them), but, as kale chips, they are gone in a flash! 3d

wovenspirit While we were away on the weekend we attended a dawn wedding ceremony... this little snuggle bug was content to cuddle Mummy as the sun came up, in his favourite 'g-eeen!' #sakurabloom , but it was an interesting experience for me, on the receiving end of some pretty blunt commentary from other guests (all women) about carrying a 2.5 year old in a sling... for my part, I'm grateful to my strong body and my hardy baby/toddler/kid wearing muscles, which enable me to still carry Anaru without any problem at nearly 28 weeks pregnant... and these days, I regularly sling a few dinosaurs as well... though no-one ever seems to have a negative opinion about dinosaur wearing ;) 5d
  •   wovenspirit Thankyou @ladymmoss , they are very wise words... I'll remember that xx 3d
  •   wovenspirit Indeed @mamadela , some people, it seems, really just don't 'get it' ;) 3d
  •   wovenspirit I think you're so right Rachel @sailingintheclouds , it helps us on even the roughest of days... I find the connection as important for me as it is for him xx 3d
  •   wovenspirit Thanks beautiful lady @earth_mamma !! I think it helps that he's not the biggest of little people... its meant I've been able to wear him for much longer :) xx 3d
  •   wovenspirit Thankyou @kateydarnell , it baffles me why people even care... or are bothered by a Mum or Dad carrying their little one (my husband gets comments too) ... but yes, I agree, their lack of positivity is definetely their own issue :) 3d
  •   wovenspirit Hehe @lynsayallsorts ;) thankyou :) 3d
  •   wovenspirit Oh that's awesome @la_sonrisa_natural ! Anaru loves going in his toddler carrier (Tula) too! I truly don't understand why people are bothered by parents holding their babies/toddlers/children close... it's so strange... I always think the opposite when I see Mums and Dad's wearing or carrying their little ones; I think how lucky their little one's are, and how loved they must feel :) xx 3d
  •   fareisle Handled that like a pro, mama! xx 18h

wovenspirit We've been rockpool dreaming... 6d
  •   nurturing_soul Wow beautiful! 6d
  •   wovenspirit It's Coolum, Nic!!! @nrule23 it's not the main beach, it's the little beach below the lookout (below Scrub Rd, off David Low Way) ~ Anaru was in heaven! Your boys would love it, so much fun just pottering and wandering, and a bit of extra training for Scotty carrying Harper over the tricky/slippery bits ;) 6d
  •   midwifeandmummy Oh your're near Coolum? We're headed there next month 6d
  •   wovenspirit Coolum is a few hours drive South for us @midwifeandmummy , we were there for a wedding, but we've holidayed there many times for many years ~ I love Coolum, it's less developed and a little wilder than other parts of the sunshine coastline ~ Sunshine Beach near Noosa is similar. Coolum is very family friendly ~ the main beach is lovely, wide and open and quite safe, and if you like raw food, organic food etc Coolum has some great options ~ checkout @newearthcafe when you go there, very yummy raw vegan food!!! enjoy your time there!! :) xx 6d
  •   midwifeandmummy I thought you were further up north. We LOVE Sunshine. It's so beautiful. We have a family holiday planned in Kingscliffe (spelling?) with my parents - Dad has terminal cancer, so we're just doing anything we can while we have time. But my husband's Godmother lives around the corner from Coolum, so we thought we may as well head up there for a visit while we're at it. Thanks for the heads up about the food! We will definitely check it out. Xx 6d
  •   wovenspirit Lots of warm Spring air up here @artnaround , we're well and truly on the run into Summer (which looks set to be super warm!) :) 5d
  •   wovenspirit Very sorry to read about your Father @midwifeandmummy , what a tough time it must be for your whole family. My husband's Mum passed away from cancer a few years ago now... and I know how terribly difficult it can be. I hope you enjoy your time together and make some beautiful memories as a family xx 3d
  •   midwifeandmummy Thank you, sweet lady xx 2d

wovenspirit Strawberry 'nice cream' for afternoon tea {strawberries, frozen banana, pineapple, frozen coconut water} and the last stitches on a shell collecting bag for me... all set to wander and forage other shorelines for a few days... 2w
  •   spiralsunshine beautiful! so much inspiration in one picture! 1w
  •   littlepapaya Oh I so need to make myself one of these! Fabulous idea. Hope your absence has been because of a happy and healthy reason and not for anything else xxx 7d
  •   phoenixjamie What a fabulous idea Mietta!! I hope you have enjoyed a few days away!! 7d
  •   mamadela @being_mumma ditto this! I would love that 6d
  •   wovenspirit I thought it was you @documentingdelight !!!! I wasn't totally sure (it was the lack of kids, haha!) and was too shy to say hello in case I was wrong, then I saw you leaving with (I think it was anyway) Nirrimi, and I knew I should have just said hello!!! xx 6d
  •   wovenspirit Yes, all healthy reasons @littlepapaya thankfully!! :) its nice to totally switch off sometimes, I always try to do it when we go away... the collecting bag was so great! don't know why I didn't think of one sooner, what with all the shells and beach glass I end up stuffing in pockets etc ;) 6d
  •   wovenspirit It was lovely @phoenixjamie :) xx 6d
  •   documentingdelight @wovenspirit hahaha silly us being shy! How good is Kunara though?! 6d

wovenspirit We were awake with the rising sun this morning, so now I'm sipping tea while Anaru and his dinosaurs play with the new meditation cushion I finished stitching last night... dinosaurs like to do 'med-it-ay-ting in the sun', apparently ;) That's #widn now @joeydeesmum :) what are you up to @earth_mamma @littlenoggi ? xx 2w
  •   herlibraryadventures So beautiful and want a perfect spot for a little dino meditation. 2w
  •   mamajdawn 2w
  •   leonie_dawson Great idea for a cushion!!!!! 2w
  •   wovenspirit Thanks @leonie_dawson ! It's a wool blanket from the oppy, cut out big circles, stitched wrong sides together, turned right way and stuffed, sewed up the gap and then blanket stitched around the outside ~ easy as, and he loves it! Clarence is envious though, so a bigger one is next on my list ;) 2w
  •   earth_mamma gorgeous thanks for asking! Will play soon just woken up strangely enough when you asked me this I was dreaming of you guys!!! You came to visit England and I showed you an apple tree and we picked one but before I could say you took a big bite of one where there were some little mushrooms growing!! The owner of the ape field said they were ok but you'd go on a journey! So you did and I stayed with you and little Anaru came up when you came back round he was all happy !! Haha peculiar! Anyway back to making that cup of wake me up tea xxxxx 2w
  •   danielabanjas You truly are an inspiration to me!Lately I have been reading some of your older posts every day and they give me such peace and joy ♡♡ THANK YOU! Daniela from Italy 2w

wovenspirit Backyard lunching with my little sweetheart... boiled eggs (whites only for Ru), giant beetroot/carrot/apple juice's and our favourite Carob ~ yum yum :) 2w
  •   needleandnail @rhiannontoast this top looks familiar 2w
  •   joeydeesmum I'm with him on the olives. I've got a no mushroom kid, and a no tomato kid but both like what the other hates. An assemble yourself meal works well around here. 2w
  •   wovenspirit Ha! Yes! Forgot the tomatoes @joeydeesmum , he'll eat yellow grape tomatoes (preferably straight from the plants in our yard), other than that, no tomatoes ;) as for the olives, anything hot/salty/sour like that (very pitta food in Ayurveda) he's not keen on... we don't buy them, so it's not much of a problem :) I find it so interesting following his natural tastebuds development... like, for instance he likes to eat dandelion greens and the seeds from papaya... fascinating!!! 2w
  •   wovenspirit One of his favourites @rhiannontoast @needleandnail :) he likes bright colours, not much of a fan of neutrals ;) 2w
  •   needleandnail @wovenspirit we have one almost identical. It's a fave here, too :) 2w
  •   spiritdreamer Growing up!!!!! 2w
  •   earth_mamma He looks so big here!! Yum yum lunch xxxx 1w
  •   saskiaandchris Yum! We love this juicing combo too:) Ru is looking so lean & long all of a sudden! X 5d

  •   larksnest Gorgeous. 2w
  •   bravearrowtribe Not sure where you are but I was awakened at 3am with sudden brightness shining thru my window! It was the moon! 🌝 (I'm in Nevada) 2w
  •   wovenspirit How beautiful @bravearrowtribe !! We're in Qld, Australia :) the moon is totally full in the very early morning here today (at 2am-ish), but we have cloud cover at the moment, so I was happy to get to bask in even a bit of the full moon :) 2w
  •   ancientamber I love this! I tried to take one last night but it was too bright :( 2w

wovenspirit This mandala topped silverbeet #greensmoothiebowl was very well deserved, after a morning spent in the rain, wrangling the neighbours dogs from our yard multiple times (and out of the vegetable garden!!), and then calming our terrorised cat and one overexcited little boy... hurrah for greens!!
{Into the #omniblend went 1 small pineapple, 1 banana, 2 kiwifruits, 2 limes, 3 passionfruits, big chunk fresh ginger, 2 handfuls of kale and 2 huge bunches of silverbeet/rainbow chard, with just enough water to blend ~ made two litres of green goodness. I topped mine with acai/raspberry coconut yoghurt, goji's, inca berries, shredded coconut, bee pollen, and spinach, coriander and bok choy flowers ~ tasted amazing :) }

wovenspirit As we wrote on a Father's Day card yesterday I asked Anaru what he likes about Daddy... 'He's warm and has furry whiskers that I pat, he runs with me on the grass and at the beach... we climb trees and make juice... he plays with me... and he cuddles me and picks me up...' ~ Clarence is a Father who is generous with his time, but most of all, openly shares his beautiful warm heart with Anaru... it shows in their strong connection... and I feel blessed to have such a wonderful father for our children... Happy Fathers Day to all the Daddy's :) xxx 2w
