wholesomecook It's smoothie time! >>>Inspired by the beautiful flavours of lime and ginger in my new @lukbeautifood lip nourish. It's made with pure, food-based ingredients which means it's safe to eat and tastes as good as it looks! Yup. It's free from all the regular lippy nasties and cruelty-free. 45min

wholesomecook Having a little ploughman's lunch today with the last of the pork belly and pistachio terrine (see below), homemade dill pickles, organic mustard, apple and zucchini and almond @finefettleflats - I think this will do. PS Mustard is fab for muscle strain recovery, pickles for good gut health and those crackers! Well, they are made with veggies, spices nuts and seeds! Totally yummy #glutenfree and #Paleo >>>Recipe for terrine via link in profile - then search for terrine, it's an old old old one but a good good good one. 2d

wholesomecook Sooo... With the festive season around the corner, today I made some #raw #vegan #chocolates which stay set at room temperature and can be used for homemade advent calendars! Instead of using strawberry powder I used @loving_earth #acai milled into a finer powder in a coffee grinder. Yum! >>>Want to know how? Recipe via link in profile. 3d

wholesomecook Mixing greens for a salad. Beautiful #greengrocerfresh red-veined sorrel, fennel fronds, amaranth - that's the burgundy leaves from the same plant that gives us amaranth seeds also present in the salad, cucumber, truss cherry tomatoes drizzled with @cobramestate 2014 harvest extra virgin olive oil and lemon juice. Kids are in the pool with their friends. It's a happy Sunday! 5d

wholesomecook We love our suburb and community so much. >>>Tonight Gladesville Road in Hunters Hill has been transformed into a 120-seat long table for #HuntersHillStreetFeast with local businesses all doing festival food specials - we loved our Mexican spread from two of our local favourites @threebeanscoffee and @staincafe_huntershill. There is live music and tipple available from @huntershillhotel for the grown ups and face painting, balloons and chalk for the kids to be entertained. So much fun and a great opportunity to catch up with friends and locals. 6d

wholesomecook It's going to be an absolute scorcher in Sydney today and more hot weather coming on Sunday. Chilling with a #summerfruitandveg delivery from @sydneymarkets blended into a refreshing slushie. Blueberries, raspberries, papaya, cos lettuce, cucumber with a dash of @bioglanau beetroot, camu and acai+ powders to boot. Crazy mint from the garden, so lush with the berry combo. 1w

wholesomecook Answering the #blogtribe call today with a shoutout to by far one of my most favourite Canadians! A chance discovery revealed that we are both Polish so I might be a little biased. Or am I really? She bakes, she cooks, she takes stunning photos and she shares her life's adventures on a blog that should need no introductions pureella.com so if you have room for one more blog in your reader or insta feed do make it @pure_ella >>>Yes, those scrumptious looking chocolate donuts are totally #vegan #glutenfree and #refinedsugarfree @blogsociety #sharethelove 1w

wholesomecook Just a little glimpse at the collection of #foodstyling #props I picked up in the US last week. It's hard to choose a favourite but in terms of uniqueness I have to say those silver slurpee spoon-straws would have to be right up there. In unrelated but also cool news, pictured, I got my first pair of #Converse in years. Gold foil polka dot. Very me. #thatsdarling 2w

wholesomecook I woke up this morning and could not stop craving lemony greens, tomatoes and tuna so I made a salad for breakfast. With leftover amaranth, some rescued avocado and coriander flowers (the plant went to seed while we've been away). A cup of orange green tea, my laptop because I've started writing something hugely exciting and I'm in a happy place. >>>What are you upto today? 2w

wholesomecook Aaaand... We are back home! It was a whirlwind of a US trip with only a week on the ground but we loved every minute of it: foodie indulgences, a bit of a holiday and a bit of work too. I managed to get a couple of green juices and whole food smoothies in there as well, but I am very much looking forward to re-calibrating back to home cooking. Linner tonight will be inspired by a dish we recently had at #nineteen23 in the Blue Mountains. Fish and greens. Yum. 2w

wholesomecook After a little indulgence of in-n-out burgers and nachos in Orange County we are back in LA with abounding fresh, clean food choices. Starters of burrata Caprese and tuna rice cakes at #VillaBlanca followed by grilled salmon salad, risottos and pasta for our friends. 3w

wholesomecook American food can be as much about nourishment as it is about meat, bread and cheese you just have to look further down the menu and ask. >>>Today for lunch I'm having an organic greens garden salad with grilled shrimp, cheese left off and dubious suspected packet dressing replaced with olive oil and a wedge of lemon for a diy number. It's lush and healthy although the portion for one could easily feed two. 3w
  •   eatrealfoodnyc LOVE this message. It's so easy to make healthier choices and still enjoy your favourite meals @wholesomecook 3w
  •   wholesomecook @eatrealfoodnyc thank you! Exactly, I'm not a pedant either - the other day the four of us shared a big pile of nachos with cheese served on what I think were deep fried tortilla chips but we had extra avocado and ordered a serve of steamed vegetables as our side to balance things out a little. 3w
  •   wholesomecook @francesca.doro thank you. 3w
  •   eatrealfoodnyc I don't believe in being too restrictive as it borderlines eating disorders but switching things up for healthy versions and occasionally indulging in the not so healthy stuff sounds like a nice balanced life to me! @wholesomecook 3w
  •   eatrealfoodnyc *healthier ! 3w
  •   the_simple_frenchie Ohh x good pack lunch idea x 3w
  •   wholesomecook @eatrealfoodnyc a woman after my own heart! I so wish I was on the East coast right now so that we could catch up and chat! I think I will have to make a trip over next time. It's been too long. 3w
  •   eatrealfoodnyc I think that sounds like a great idea! @wholesomecook 3w

wholesomecook I'm in food stylist's heaven! >>>A considerable length of Glassall Street here in Orange, CA is lined with vintage and antique shops. Each home to tens of stalls with an amazing collection of vintage and unique props of all sorts. Cute town too, really worth the trip from LA. 3w

wholesomecook Enjoyed a lovely service on our @QantasAirways flight to the US, complete with a cover-to-cover read of @gourmettraveller French issue. After indulging in bread with @pepesaya butter I sipped on @t2tea lemongrass and ginger infusion before a little rest. 3w
