wholesomecook We love our suburb and community so much. >>>Tonight Gladesville Road in Hunters Hill has been transformed into a 120-seat long table for #HuntersHillStreetFeast with local businesses all doing festival food specials - we loved our Mexican spread from two of our local favourites @threebeanscoffee and @staincafe_huntershill. There is live music and tipple available from @huntershillhotel for the grown ups and face painting, balloons and chalk for the kids to be entertained. So much fun and a great opportunity to catch up with friends and locals. 2d

wholesomecook It's going to be an absolute scorcher in Sydney today and more hot weather coming on Sunday. Chilling with a #summerfruitandveg delivery from @sydneymarkets blended into a refreshing slushie. wholesomecook Aaaand... We are back home! It was a whirlwind of a US trip with only a week on the ground but we loved every minute of it: foodie indulgences, a bit of a holiday and a bit of work too. I managed to get a couple of green juices and whole food smoothies in there as well, but I am very much looking forward to re-calibrating back to home cooking. wholesomecook American food can be as much about nourishment as it is about meat, bread and cheese you just have to look further down the menu and ask. >>>Today for lunch I'm having an organic greens garden salad with grilled shrimp, cheese left off and dubious suspected packet dressing replaced with olive oil and a wedge of lemon for a diy number. It's lush and healthy although the portion for one could easily feed two. 2w
