wholesomecook Staying with family means that for the most part I get a break from the kitchen so, today, I went on a lunch date with my man. We chatted over a Pimm's and had this poached coconut chicken and prawn salad from @kinnthai - for lunch. It was to die for. A few more presents to wrap then we're off to the Christmas service before dinner. >>>What are you up to this Christmas Eve? 5d

wholesomecook Polish Rosehip Jam Donuts >>>Now it's probably only twice or three times a year that we indulge in these, but when we do there's no regret, no guilt. Just a simple pleasure of enjoying a #Christmas tradition and food our grandparents and parents used to eat and treat us with on occasion because it takes plenty of work to make these. Back then there was no convenience and packet mix stuff. Just homemade real food and sweets enjoyed as treats. Nothing wrong with that if you can handle the ingredients. Left a couple for our house sitters too. Yum! Enjoy girls. 1w

wholesomecook Dinner tonight inspired by a #thermomix recipe... Except that I cooked it on the stove! Oops. Watercress, baby spinach, stir-fried black pepper asparagus, capsicum and zucchini with thinly sliced seared then steamed beef fillet. The dressing is homemade mayo with pistachios, horseradish and basil. A dusting of cumin and chilli. I did make two soups in it last night though. >>>So, tell me, what are your favourite thermomix recipes? 1w

wholesomecook It's here! My #thermomix has arrived. First order of business? Pure coconut butter made with nothing more than just shredded organic coconut. It will be set in the fridge to make "white chocolate" with just a pinch of @teamgoodness vanilla bean powder. Looooove it! Better still, I bought it at a charity auction so proceeds will go to @mirabelfoundation Recipe in comments below. #bestofthermomix 2w

wholesomecook My first ever overflowing smoothie in a jar... Inspired by my trainer's fourteen year old daughter who is very much into learning all about common-sense clean eating and healthy treats (how awesome is she?). I had a blueberry, blackberry, avocado, coconut, banana and chia pudding with raw almonds for afternoon tea. Yum! Thanks for the inspiration Paris. xo 3w

wholesomecook Soup for breakfast because I've had a hankering for noodles for a few days now.
