  •   shaderenee What is "cuffing season"? 1mon
  •   amirah.williams It's non existent. It's football season. It's nearly impossible to get the kind of attention you want football comes on pretty much everyday but Tuesdays and Fridays lol. And girls don't just want seasons lol 1mon
  •   tiiffany_mariie It's non-existent. People do what they want at the end of the day. "Cuffing season" is not real just like the relationships that are forged under that idea. We play too many games as a generation and wonder why everyone is constantly "hooking up" with no relationships. Bring organic bonding and relationships back! Become friends then develop a genuine interest in someone and take it from there. That takes time not a made up time period. 1mon
  •   _nakfa I've got enough bracelets! A handcuff with a seasonal relationship attached is not on my list! 1mon
  •   ch3llzzzz you know that email coming ;) 1mon
  •   wforu It was created through media. Our parents or even older siblings/friends never used this term, once upon a time. "Cuffing Season" is what you make it. It's what you feel, what you do and how you treat each other. If I walk around saying I want to be cuffed then I'll make it happen, for that "season" The weather does not determine whether you stamp a relationship or not. I don't really feel anything about it. If it's the trend I choose to follow then so be it. Basically to sum up what I'm saying is, it'll pass by eventually like a new pair of sneakers or the latest jam we bump to in our rooms. Then, we'll look back at it like the trend it was. At the end of the day, do what you want, say how you feel and proceed. If there are seasons you don't want to be alone then do it. The end goal is to think about longevity not whether it's cold or warm outside. That's just silly, but that's our generation. We get over things, at some point. 1mon

wendyxnichole What's the fad with Cuffing Season? New video approaching 🌚 1mon
  •   godmadetone It ain't real it don't mean shit. I'm consistent throughout the year. Season don't change me 1mon
  •   lothacapo feelings don't change w the seasons, it's just an excuse to jump into a new situation bc ppl are starting to notice more couples rn 1mon
  •   dan.lay Less social events to talk to females during the summer, making the winter a more suitable time to have a joint around. 1mon
  •   wynngod Hustle season #BuildBusiness 1mon
  •   mellowlauren I'm mute 1mon
  •   sirchuckus Cuffing season sounds good in theory but it really means this. It's cold, the holiday season is coming up and I would enjoy having someone on my arm until it gets warm enough to be out here choosin again. I personally see how it could work, but if we're honest it's really just another Internet fad. 1mon
  •   imsydny Yea @sirchuckus pretty much hit it on the head Wendy 1mon

  •   ezramenelik "Talking" to and "dating" are synonymous for me. You can date and talk to multiple people at once, but I know that different people use the word "dating" differently. When someone asks me if they want to "hang out" I feel like the context is more playful, sexual and less serious. 2mon
  •   yesitsbetty A very interesting topic. I'll start by saying I am currently "in a relationship" however I think that as far as the three different titles they are all up for different interpretations. Ultimately, I think it all has to do with an underline of commitment and monogamy. Dating now has become so open, that online dating has made it more about dating multiple people, talking seems more exclusive yet noncommittal such as "We are just talking" and finally "hanging out" a much more common phrase to describe the transitional period between talking and a relationship. -and that's just my two cents. 2mon
  •   pourrayne Talking, dating, and hanging out all mean the same thing to me. If the two people involved haven't come to the decision as a couple that they're committed and exclusive to each other then you need to expect that neither person owes anything to the other. 2mon
  •   pourrayne P.S I think the major downfall of all three mentioned is that women AND men get their feelings hurt because clear lines and boundaries are never set. Too many baes wanna be wives 2mon
