•   tonyandersontv We are a diverse group. You and I are educated black men and kings. I'm not lumping us with the thugs and goons. 11h
  •   tonyandersontv The ones doing the killing aren't protesting. 11h
  •   water1019 The statement is to speaking about what goes own in our communities daily. You're from Philly a one time murder capital in this country. I'm from New Orleans, grew up in Baltimore, went to school in DC and lived in Harlem. All one time murder capitals in this country. As kings, leaders and educated men, I want to know why I it's only killings of black men at white hands that spark such outrage? I protest my own killing my own. Where was the protests with all the BS happening in Chicago. We can't look at one and say it's wrong and not see the other without saying the same. I know you know because you cover this from the front line @tonyandersontv 11h
  •   tonyandersontv Solving the issue of violence in urban communities like Nola, Philly and Chicago require actual work. Its deeper than just a protest or march. Poverty, the denial of equal opportunity and a failed educated system as well as the saturation of guns and drugs in our community along with private owned prison business that see blacks as cheap labor and finally hundreds of years if mental conditioning and oppression have causes these issues. No march or protest will solve that. 11h
  •   tonyandersontv Also ppl protest not just because of the killings. Its the lack of an arrest that has ppl in an uproar. When blacks kill blacks many go to prison. Its that when whites or police kill blacks they get away with it. THAT is the reason for the protest. If Zimmerman was charged with murder from the gate we wouldn't know who Trayvon Martin is. If the officer who killed Michael Brown was at the very least charged we would be having this issue 10h
  •   tonyandersontv Its the unfair nature of the justice system that has ppl upset. I've come to realize that its just how the system is. Black ppl aren't supposed to have justice the same way as other folks. Its just how it is. 10h
  •   water1019 No! I'm not with that it's just the way it is! The system is unfair and folks can call out what they want but people cannot turn a blind eye to one situation while calling out another. Lack of arrests take place in both circumstances. Drugs poverty guns prisons years of mental conditions failed education systems all of it of course will not be solved by protests BUT educated men and women who pay attention and speak out loud, who vote, who fight for what is desired and deserved and who aren't afraid to say WE because it hits us ALL in this specific community are the ones who make change. The blueprint for social change in this country has been written. I think apathy and a lack of moral conviction has stunted the cultures overall growth, actions and reactions. Chicago's situation is a mess with few voices heard nationally, but let the next ratchet show hit the air on VH1 and Bravo and a 1.5 to 2 million of us will show up for it 10h

water1019 Just found this in an old Bible. I was just a production assistant here. I really enjoyed how big television felt, how BET felt like I had stepped into the movie "Boomerang". Donnie and Sherry were cool. Luther Vandross was a great guest. I was fortunate to spend a good amount of time with him that day. There will never be another Luther. 3w
